Well after trolling on here for ages and drooling over all the shiny metal i though id chuck mine on while i was cleaning my bats.

I'm 23 and am self employed. I've been racing motorbikes and cycle bikes since i can remember. After meeting my girlfriend and being pestered to have a go at golf (she works in a pro shop) here i am. I've been playing for just over a year and am currently a 14.9hcp. My last 2 rounds have been 6 and 8 over gross so i'm hoping to get cut soon. I have acess to 2 courses. One is a par 64 parkland course that is extremely tight and very unforgiving. The other is a par 70 links course. I can play to 15 on both without any trouble. I wanna be 5 or lower in 2 years. :wave:

I've tried a lot of equipment. I'm no nike or tiger fanboy by any means. They just performed and did what i wanted so it is mostly nike stuff. I'm sure they'll be a few questions so please ask

Powerkaddy cart bag i use everyday and the srixon tour bag is for when i go away as i can get loads of kit in. V2 bushnell. Orange galvin green waterproofs. Loads of wet and leather gloves.

These were my first set of irons

Snakes eyes blades with fst reg shafts. These are getting re built over the winter. I bring that 1 iron out every now and then for a laugh.

Ecco biom shoes and addidas tour 360's for the winter

Great set. I also play the Nike vr pro limited edition driver but mine has the stock shaft in stiff flex. How do you like you PX shaft in it and can you compare it to the stock shaft (assuming you hit the driver with the stock shaft). Thanks!

Nice sticks! those snake eyes blades are solid I always chuckle a bit seeing blades with regular shafts

I didn't hit the stock driver shaft. It was between the diamana kalli and the PX 6.0. Even though the PX is a soft stiff it works great for me so we went with the PX in all the woods as i've got matching OCD ;-)
I'd of really liked the AD DI 6s in my driver and a AD DI7s in my 4 wood. The bank wouldn't go that far though!

Loving the woods, nice looking set you got there man. I'm seeing more and more people with those pro combo irons, they look smooth.

I used to ride quite a bit. I think you bag look pretty sweet. Good color combo.

The putter grip is a [color=#000000][size=3][left][url="http://gamolagolf.co.uk/acatalog/Golf_Pride_New_Decade_Coloured_Putter_Grips.html"]Golf Pride New Decade.[/url] Was about £4 :-) the stock midsize grip took all the feel out of the putter as it was also very soft. So no one has noticed the PXi shaft in my 7 iron then ;-)

Its hard to see, but not I see the PXi. Why do you have that, test/break?

Testing the pxi as the nippons are too light. have also tried px 5.5 and 6.0 and s300's. PXi is by far the best (for me). A bit more weight than the nippon and doesn't ballon into the wind. Get a lovely penetrating flight too. It's a completely different feel to a PX 5.5 rifle. When the season has ended i'll be striping my irons and re building them with the PXi's
