Mizuno MP "T" Series Wedges

Opinions?

Anybody using these wedges that can comment on:

How they compare with Vokey's?

Any thoughts on matching the wedges up with Mizuno irons (similar feel, consistency, quality)?

I have a set of both the 53 and the 60 MP-T series wedges in the raw haze finish. I have played them all summer long and have been really pleased with them. The feel is great and the look of the high toe is great!! The raw haze finish is good too. I would recommend them, but in the meantime some guy called Vokey came out with these spin milled wedges and so far the 60 mizzy has been kicked out by a 58 voeky and the 53 will be out of the bag as soon as the 54 spin milled is released!!! Mizuno wedges are great though!!! Hope this helps!!

MP/T wedges are forged which give them great feel and similar to Mizuno irons but will wear quicker than cast wedges. I personally like feel of the wedges and the Black Nickel finish.

I switched to Vokeys because I got a good deal on them and so far I really like my Spin Milled 58. When/if the 54 & 50 Spin Milled are released I'll probably get that those too.

I still like Mizuno wedges but at the price I'm getting Vokeys for it's hard for me to switch right now.

I own both the Vokey Tour Chrome 52/56 and Vokey Spin Milled 60 and a set of the Mizuno MP T Black Nickel 51/56/60 and I honestly can say that I love both wedges very much - the Vokey are a bit more head heavy, the Mizzies have a nice tear shaped face and the grooves on my Mp T's spin almost as much as my Spin Milled - definitely more than my standard Vokey Tour Chrome.

I would rank them 10/10 both sets - so it's up to you to decide what to go for. You cant' go wrong with either set :fool:

The Vokey's are cast, the MP T's are forged.

I have a MP-T Black Nickel Sandwedge and a MP Black OX Lobwedge.

Vokeys have always been too heavy to hit the chips and pitches for me, although Vokey's are great for full shots off the fairway. The Mizunos spin more than enough and they open up very well, probably better than anything else.
