I'm interested in the V3 (specifically for us V2 owners). Why should I upgrade? And if I do upgrade, should I go V3 or Z6?

I think the main difference is the V3 is 5x magnification while the Z6 is 6x. There are tons of Z6s new on ebay for under $300.

Do you think it's worth upgrading from my V2 to a Z6?

Honestly I have no idea. My current laser is a five year old cheapest of the bunch Bushnell that is 4X mag and barely gets a read unless I laser it off of a person's belly, so everything is better for me. I bought a Z6 on ebay that should arrive in a couple of days. I did a lot of in store testing of the Z6 compared to the Pro 1m and I loved the compact size of the Z6. It is almost shockingly small. The Pro 1m is 7x and the Z6 is 6x, but I didn't notice a difference. The z6's button is sort of stiff and hard to bush down because it's water proof.

It's one of those products that you should just set a budget first and then buy one that fits that budget. They are all really good.

I have a Z6 and it is outstanding! Went to it from a 1600 Pro Edition and I love how small it is and easy to hold with one hand. It has a red display which makes it much easier to see in all conditions and its extremely accurate. Best rangfinder I've ever owned!

Also have a z6 and it really is great. No problems with it at all, grabs flags super fast. Did several comparisons on course between the z6 and the Leupold GX3i and just found the display clearer (no blue tint) and flag acquisition faster with the z6.

I own the Bushnell watch and it's the only rangefinder the average player would ever need. It tells you how far to front, center and back of the green as well as measuring how far you hit the ball. Additionally I've tested it against a laser and it's within 1 yard always... more accurate than you'll ever need. Its also very comfortable... you don't even notice it... and it has every course you'd ever want to play and it updates automatically. Unless your a 5 hcp or below it's just a waste of time and money to get anything else.

That blue tint killed it for me too. Way too dark.

Have the V2, LOVE it! Works great, fast and is good value.

What new would the V3 give me? Or is it more like a continuation of the brilliant V2, more like a "re-brand"? At least the JOLT tech. sound like a marketing name for the V2:s already functional PinSeeker Tech.

Tried the Z6, didn't like the red aim and the hint of blue tint in the viewfinder. I also didn't like the bigger then V2 size and the hard to press 'fire' button, the metallic body and weight of the Z6 also felt like it will scrape more likely the the V2 if dropped.

What I would be interested in seeing form Bushnell is a solid easy to use bag clip (something like the "Quick Draw" in the pictures, but without the cord), the pouch it came in is good for storage but not so easy to use on the field.

Andrew Rice Golf studied the golf swing while wearing a watch. The club head speed is slower with a watch v. not wearing one. Something else to think about.
