Is that a new Swingbyte model? Did they just modify the attachment device on the same hardware? I have one and admit that the current rubber band attachment system is the worst part of a pretty cool device.

Here's an article about the new Swingbyte for 2013. Sounds like some nice improvements. I will definitely consider purchasing one this year.

I purchased the golf swing shirt about 2 months ago. It has really helped me stay connected. I am a 4 to 5 handicap, dont play or practice nearly enough. My one bad habit is getting to fast with the hands and arms, especially at the top of the swing. This shirt has really made my practice time more productive and it has translated over to the course. I would highly recommond this training aid if you need help in staying connected.

The cam caddy is pretty cool, but I'd like to see the price on it.....

That golf swing shirt is a good idea, but I'm not sure I could stand the restriction in the body. A simple band would make me feel better.

Not sure about the orange whip putters either..... definitely look like early protos, maybe they're looking for feedback.

I wonder if Swingbyte will offer a credit for previous models. I have had mine since last summer and still have not been able to get it to work right. Laziness/business put me out of the return window. Great product that I would like to give a legit shot to but I can't justify spending another $150 on something that I was constantly trying to get to work.

Thank you buddy, that's exactly my problem getting fast with my hands and arms at the top of the swing! I will give it a try.

@ GoogleMe , thanks for the link I already had seen it 2 or 3 times already but really wasn't sold. But one of the pictures of here seemed that the guy was really compact, I'm not much of a training aid person but will check this one out.

$30 for the caddy. $38 if you want a cam caddy alignment stick with it.

I like the Orange whip but trying to figure out the benefit as a putter?
My guess, is that if you get handsy or jerky with your putter stoke, the whip shaft will be like a noodle and you won't be able to hit the putt. Teaches you to be slow and smooth.

Couldn't the guys at Orange Whip do a better job with the finish on their putting trainer? It looks terrible. Maybe it's just a prototype, but bringing something so poorly painted to something as widely seen as the PGA Merchandise show is bad form...Looks like a grade schooler painted the top of the putters, especially the orange with the white disk on the top...

To answer a few of your above questions yes it is a new version of the Swing Byte. It's called simply swing byte 2. According to the rep the only difference is how it attaches to the shaft of the club. They will provide a $50 credit to get folks into the newer model if you turn in your old Swing Byte.
I talked to the Swingbyte guys and you're exactly right about the difference in the Swingbyte 2 and the $50 credit. They also said they're making two major additions to the app. They are adding a feature to let you video your swing with your IPhone, iPad, Android...while the Swingbyte simultaneously records data. You'll then be able to look side-by-side at the 3D rendering of your club path and the actual video of that same swing. The coolest part of this feature is that you'll start the video yourself, walk in and hit the shot, and the app will automatically trim the video from a few seconds before it sensed the Swingbyte moving to a few seconds after it stopped. Very cool.
The second improvement and the most appealing in my opinion is the addition of a target line selector in the app. This will be similar to what the Trackman does. In other words you will be able to select with a, red, vertical line the flag or object that you will be aiming at. This is huge because now the Swingbyte's data will be incredibly more accurate when measuring face angle at impact, path, etc.
I pre-ordered a Swingbyte 2 at the show and they said they should ship out in Mid-April. At the same time they'll release the new app which will work with either Swingbyte model.
Hope this was helpful.

I'm in on the swingshirt. In orange, gotta try something to get down into the sub 5 range and beyond.

Anyone know who makes the iPad tripod that is pictured?
Cam Caddy had a mock up(the picture that you saw) at the show. They said it should be available for purchase by April at the latest. It looked pretty functional as you can adjust the height and it is supposed to tilt and swivel. Planning to pick one up as soon as it is released.

Got my Cam Caddy last August and use it regularly. I'm just an average golfer looking for the next aid to help me improve and saw a short post from Bill on here last summer.

- The stick sold with the caddy is slightly larger in diameter than my Tour Sticks and about 4" shorter.
- The Cam Caddy will also slide down the Tour Stick unless you add some tape at the attachment point. Doesn't budge on the Cam Caddy stick once you snap it in place unless you forcefully slide it.
- The caddy stick Supports my Galaxy S3 with Otterbox Defender case easily,
- You'll also notice the Cam Caddy stick has a sharper tip than Tour Sticks. Makes it easy to get in the ground here in TX
- I even lower it down close to the ground and stick it in the fringe behind me on the putting green

Worth the money spent IMO. Hope this helps.
