underrated?

What do you guys think? How do they play compared to the BH Apex plus of a few years back. I like the look of the irons but I heard the finish especially the back is not durable.. I was told to get (gasp) iron covers as these ding up pretty quickly.

i have had mine for about a year and they are in great shape w/o covers. Great irons i love them very workable and more forgiving than i thought. Onlly thing is i was not a huge fan of teh stock apex so i swapped them for tour flighted 5.5's

Best irons i have ever used I bought them fitted with Project X 6.5. They don't ding as bad as they say when you hit a ball in the middle with these irons the feeling is like butter.

I think the FTX's are vastly under-rated. Great feel, good looks, and pretty forgiving. Not a bad stick at all.

The FTX's hold up fine, had mine now for 1.5 years, the matte finish in the cavity is fine, and the dings are very normal forged club dings, if anything, they held up well. 704cb's look like crap after a few rounds, in comparison...

beautiful irons, fairly forgiving, great short irons. put a good swing and you're rewarded..

I'm a huge hogan fan and when these came out I was thrilled. I've only hit them indoors, but the place I hit them at was a great retail place with great matts and a real good hitting area, and I was pureing them big time. I was amazed at how solid they were. IMO they are without a doubt one of the best out there. I'd like to get a set, then again i'd like to get some other sets too, like a set of mp60s.
