eye 2 vs eye 2 becu

How much difference is there in the non-plus versions of the original eye2 vs the becu eye2? I've hit the original eye2's and currently play TA 845's and really liked them, but I've heard some good things about the becu version, and have an opportunity to pick up a set 3-sw... Little help?

I've played extensively with both sets. Unfortunately I no longer own the BeCu Eye 2s, though I do still have BeCu ISIs and stainless steel Eye 2s. In my experience, there's no difference in performance between the steel and copper Eye 2s. The copper has a slightly, and I mean [size=2][i][b]slightly[/b][/i][/size], different sound at impact, but it may be psychosomatic. I can't hit balls blindfolded for the ultimate blind test, so there's really no way for me to know for sure.

What I do know is that BeCu Eye 2s look fantastic in the bag, and the dark patina they develop frames up the ball wonderfully at address. If you get your hands on a set, keep them for the rest of your life, you will only regret selling them.
