Got a 983E off ebay - was I mislead?

I don't understand how it's a bad reshaft. Care to explain? I see a tiny chip near the hosel. No big deal. For $87 shipped that's a steal for a club in that shape.

You can get the excess glue off easily.

I've seen worse jobs on new clubs in the store... aint broke dont fix it....

I've brought a club that looked like that to Joe K. once. He almost had a fit.... :cheesy: :cheesy: (Joe is an extreme perfectionists)

If it performs well, then the glue can be cleaned up.

I guess I was just a bit miffed at the residue on the hosel. My 975J has cleaner joints so I was a bit concerned.

I guess I can understand your concern. Looks fine to me. Just go hit it to make sure it's alright, then clean it up. It'll be fine.

Well for one, that isn't a Pro 95 made for Titleist. Its the real deal Pro 95 so it had to be custom ordered or reshafted. A little acetone and she will look like new. The thing I would be concerned is how stiff it will play being an X and that bore thru. Who knows how much is inserted, and if its fully inserted it will play extremely stiff. If you don't think you got a good deal, I'll give you $85 shipped for it

Unless it's a total crap-job on the re-shaft, this is a steal. Especially if it performs.

Like they said shaft is worth more than you paid for the whole set up. I would not sweat that purchase.

Like everyone else, I wouldnt be too worried about that bro.. The reshaft doesnt look too bad, looks like you need to wipe some glue off or something. Shouldnt be bad. Plus the shaft alone is worth more than the $80 you paid. You could easily have the shaft pulled by a professional clubfitter and probably sell it, keeping the head and the headcover for free..

Like everyone else, if you arent happy, i'd gladly take it off your hands!

Not much marking on the sole/face so it's a fair cop... it's a good deal.

Not much to say here other than nice steal.....and folowing thew mold if u dont like it bc of cosmetics that can easily be fixed other than that it looks to be in good shape. congrats on the steal!!!

The reshaft doesnt look that bad, but for the face and sole, use some sand paper to get the small scratches out, by brushing with the grain, and it will look like new

The Pro95 was heavier than I expected. Maybe I would've been better getting one of the other auctions with a Speeder 757
