What's up with his putter? Is that lead tape covering the bottom? Or is it worn down from tons of use?

i notice he has 3 hybrids and 14 clubs without the putter...

he will most probably have to leave 1 club out during actual play..

i wonder what it will be...my guess is a hybrid or even the 5 iron if he retains all the hybrids..

What's up with the X flexed clubs? Someone enlighten me how one swings a 4 series driver shaft, 5.5 irons but some are X Flexed?

It would be interesting to hear why he plays stiffer shafts in his wedges than in his irons. 5.5 seems pretty soft to begin with in such a light weight shaft especially since he's playing a low torque x in his hybrids. His setup definitely works though. It was amazing to see such a young kid make the cut at the masters.

Interesting mix of different flexes in his shafts

Any guesses on how much weight all that lead tape adds to his putter?

Amazing short game!! Watched him hit shots around a few holes today. I'm talking Phil, Tiger, Seve all rolled into one with his touch and imagination, oh and did I mention he's 14 frickin' years old.

The two 23* hybrids are battling for a spot in the bag with the Graphite Design shaft sort of leading as of right now.

Very nice, polite young man with a lot of swagger confidence.

He just switched over to the Matrix in the driver, though his father seems to have picked up a lot of equipment this week from just about every OEM.

Picked up a new Cameron putter today but don't see him switching any time soon.

wanted to say the same, I guess he fitted all the shafts correctly, but in his age and with his swingspeeds a few x flexes are maybe too much and the mix is maybe too much too...

but hands down he made the cuts two weeks ago on one of the toughest courses, so it seems to be working for him

Interesting bag. Most teens around my course play blade irons from 3-pw. They should probably take a look at this bag and see that consistent scoring trumps looking like a ball-striking wiz.
