I like performance and value and this ball has both. I've been using this ball this summer and it has everything I need: durability, length, spin. I like the value part because I''m a 19 handicap so I have a tendency to lose one or two balls a round. Although my game doesn't have the "10yd backspin with a 1/2 wedge" shot yet, the ball checks up great for me.

This ball feels very nice, spins well and has a good flight line. It is also amazing value for money. The only problem for me was driver distance. I was simply hitting it 10 or more yards short of the Pro V1 and also the Nike Supersoft. Like I said, great around and on the greens, nice feel off the irons, but I couldn't justify the loss off the tee.

These balls are great value all over the place at the moment. You can pick them up for quarter the cost of a box of new Pro V1 xs.

Β

The ball plays very similar charactersistics to the old Pro V1. Best of all it has a really good feel off the irons and has a lot of technology in the cover to make it fly very consistently.

Β

You can't possibly beat it dollar for dallar at the moment.

You can buy these balls at Target for $19.99 Dozen!!! For those that don't know, Precept and Bridgestone are one in the same. This ball was introduced 4 years ago as the 1st seamless ball. I left Titleist for this ball. The last 2 years went back to ProV thought that this ball didn't exist anymore. Tried the B330S and couldnt get the ball to fly like I like. Then oneday I was getting ready for vacation and stopped in Target and found these balls on the shelf. I will play this ball again until it is unavailable. The cover does not last as long as a ProV but will last a couple of rounds. However for less than half the price you can go buy 3 dozen and last you most of the season if not all of it.

PS Nike One Black feels hard

This nad the Hogan Tour Deep are my favorite balls now, you just can't beat the U-Tri at this price!! Nice spin on the irons and wedges, nice putting feel, and still controllable off the driver. :shok:

Β

Β

Where are you buying them?

Β

Like above, I get the U-Tri Tours at Target for $20. I was grabbing the Tour Deep for $30 but the discounted ones seem to have dried up and I only see them for $40 now.

I have been a die hard Pro v1x player for at least 4 years now. Every once in awile I will mix it up and try somthing differant. ( hx tour, B330, you name it, I've tried it!) I would always end up going back to the pro v1x. I don't think it was the longest ball however it was the most consistant. The only thing I don't like about it is the spin. (They spin to much) I have a hard time keeping it on the green. I will spin a pro v1x back on average 15 to 20 feet with a pw!

So one of my golfn buddys, who has the same probablem I do, gave me a sleeve of Precept U-Tri Tours to try. I was rather impressed after the first couple of holes. They where playing about 5 yards longer of the irons and 15 yards longer of the Driver, very consistantly! As for the spin into the greens they where perfect! They seemed to spin back no more than 3 feet with my pw and would drop and stop with the long irons. The feel is perfect as well. I would say someware between that of a pro v1 and a pro v1x.

Still not totaly convinced to make the switch, I bought a doz at my local Target for $23.49 and played 3 more rounds with them on differant courses. Much to my supprise, I found that the ball was no joke! Same results as in the first round! So it is official, I have made the switch! I just purchased 12 doz off eBay for $200 with free shipping! I am hooked! For better than half the price of a titleist, it is worth a try. If you cant find them at target or wal-mart, try eBay.

I hear you I've been a Prov-1 player the last 5 years, but after 2 kids (1 in hockey) i had to put that $40+ $$ some where else. So one morning i was off to play in a skins game needed pick something up for my son at walmart and spotted the U Tri Tours at a walmart for $23.00. I played them from July-Sept 07. I lost no distance, still had all the control around the greens Awesome ball. They will be in the line up again this year i asked for 5 dz for Christmas and got them, give them a try you will be shocked.

The Target blowout prices (like $5.99) do not pertain in warm-weather states. They're still around 20...and totally worth 40! This is the best ball for the money. It's a real player's ball. Urethane cover, solid, plenty-long, and at it's best with a wedge or putter in your hand. If you can tell the difference between ProV1 and this, you may be be biased. A good player will love this ball. The harder you swing, the better it gets! They should re-name and re-paint this "The New & Improved Bridgestone B330-s"...everyone would rave about how it is a rival to ProV1/NOP/TP/Z-URC/...etc.! Get them while you can, but you're better off with these if you're a 15 hdcp or lower, than if you need a less spinny ball. They REALLY perform!

I agree these are the best ball for the price now available. I called Bridgestone direct (USA) and the rep

said this ball was no longer part of the Precept line and was discontinued in 2005. It is still available at

Target and Walmart for just under $24 regular price and goes on sale occasionally for under $20. They are

fully stocked and I can't imagine these are 3 year old balls. I think possibly Bridgestone Japan sends them

to Target and Walmart direct. I have little doubt they are the same ball as the 330 or330S. The dimple

pattern is identical.

Amazing ball at any price, the best bargain ever at $24.00 or less it's crazy. This ball is durable, feels really, really good off the putter, and is very long, and a great wind ball. It's more of a stop spin as opposed to a suck back spin, like a NOP or Pro V, but it's a GREAT ball. I just recently bought a dozen from Target, and they were consistently longer for me than the Tour ix, and just about even, or slightly longer than the b330s. Precept and Bridgestone really do make excellent golf balls

I've been plaiyng these since their release. When I heard a story that Jack ordered several dozen once, I had to try them. They've never left my bag.

Β

I am still seeing them at my local Target. I bought out their whole display twice and have a nice reserve in my closet. The cashier thought I was buying 12 boxes of cologne until I told her they were golf balls.

Β

They went a few months without them at my local Target, then one day when I was buying some groceries I decided to look again and there they were. Had to buy more. The most I paid was $23.00. They feel great off my 905T and putt nicely (as good as anything).

Β

It's amazing when you find the right ball...you just have to have it. Lucky for me I've got a few years worth!
