Houston golf outing? June 8th or 9th

I will be in Houston from Thursday June 6th and will leave Monday June 10th. I have a money game Friday June 7th at my Brother in laws club WillowCreek in Spring. I'm wanting to play Saturday and would like to play with some fellow WRX'ers. If anybody has an open spot or just want to meet up and play let me know.

I would like to stay in the under $100.00 range if possible. I will be staying in the Splendora area but do not mind driving across town to play. No 6am or 7am tee times please, lol.

I have one range session and one round under my belt so far this year but the game is coming around. I found a two mechanical flaws today while doing a fitting/lesson today, so I'm hoping by next week i'm hitting the ball solid and respectable.

I got a foursome at West Fork in Conroe for Saturday morning. If anybody wants to play Sunday June 9th let me know

I'd be interested in knowing what kind of shape West Fork is in. I've played it once a few years ago and it left a lot to be desired. Hopefully the recent rains have helped.

[/quote]for $40 it's a good course to play. The course can use some work and the greens were bumpy but it was in decent shape. I would definitely pay $40 to play it again

My golf league played Westfork a couple of weeks ago. For the most part, the golf course seems to be making a comeback. I believe they have new management. The pro shop was practically empty of any merchandise. I talked to the guy in the pro shop when I first got there and he said they were working to try to get it back in good condition again. He admitted the sand traps were not getting much atttention as they seem to be needing a total rework. Some of the fairway bunkers had weeds growing in them and were packed pretty hard. Looks like they are paying some attention to the greenside bunkers. It has a ways to go but for the price you pay it is not that bad.
