Scotty Laguna Pro Platinum. Love it because it's lighter than what's out there these days (about 330 grams), and has a nice thin topline and high toe.

Also have a Redwood Zing, which is very different because the toe hang is at about 5.5 o'clock.

That is quite the line up of Lagunas you have there.

When I first started playing I used a Ping Zing which had a similar shape to these. After seeing this thread it may be something that I look into going back to.

Great collection! Do you have a true Faxday hidden in that group picture?
No Faxday... all my putters are 1.5 necks.

But I do have a similar head, with a 1.5 neck welded to it...

Wow! That's quite a collection.
Hey, what's the Laguna smack in the middle of the picture, making the others bow down to it? A handmade?

You could say that...

It is a Classic II head, Laguna Tour made for Loren Roberts- "Boss of the Moss" (created through the transition from CGI to Titleist).... Naked Face, Naked Sole, all hand stamped

Here is a different version of the same collection.

My daughter was in University for Photography, so I used her skills.

I had it printed on canvas and had Scotty sign it at ICC.

It hangs in my office.

Circle T oil can Laguna w/ welded Santa Fe neck and fixed tungsten weights that had in bag from 2006 to 2010, love the flow due to arc stroke and have used various zing2 and Laguna styles since started playing seriously in 1994. Although moved to some putters that require less maintenance, putter will not go anywhere.

Beautiful collection love the look of the Laguna but being left handed haven't ever used one.
I don't have the picture handy, but I have seen a left handed Laguna. ;)

I don't know why Scotty has not produced an otr Left version

Darbyson, did you happen to pick up the Classic II that was made for HRIII, when it came available? Hugh Royer III sold off his Camerons when he switched putter makers and there were some beauties in that count. The Classic II was gorgeous and I think it sold for a very reasonable amount.
Just curious more than anything.
VERY nice collection, BTW.

What a great design that Karsten Solheim came up with not copied as much a the Anser putter but might be the second most copied putter.

You really need to add a Zing/Zing 2 to your collection to pay homage the designer.
I have a Zing 2, gamed a My Day back in the 70's... They are a great design, but Scotty's versions are far from these models.

They are beefier, better material and subtle changes that make them more desireable . IMHO.

Scotty will be considered a design genius when his original designs are copied by others. I don't think that anyone has taken a original design of his and made subtle changes to make it more desirable as most people prefer his version of the Ping putters than original Scotty designs.

I love this style putter. It looks so god and performs so well for me. I suffer from left handedness otherwise, I would have a larger collection than my zing.

Bumping an old thread. Can anyone recommend some Zing/Laguna shaped putters that aren't as pricey as SC's and Nardi's? Thanks.

Oh, beautiful collection. :)

Ping MyDay or Odyssey ProType #4 HT are close and a cheaper alternative.
