2013 GolfWRX Community Choice Awards - DRIVERS

Wish I could say there was a driver this year that impressed me much. Granted, I didn't try all of them but of all the ones I tried, none beat out my Classic 290. The closest was the RBZ Stage 2 and RFE but they didn't get all the way.

Lurker for a while but first post.

Went through the r11s and the r1 to find the covert this year and I'm finally feeling good with a driver in my hands. Wednesday will be my first time I bagged a driver on leagues all year. Never gave the nike a look until I picked up last years vr pro 4 hybrid that has been my go to fairway finder. I'll take 220 in the fairway over 260 in the trees any day.

Interesting how different this is from actual market share. Only the combined Callaway is remotely close tot what actually exists.
The Kool-aid drinkers have Titleistand Ping several times more and the haters have TM at less than half of reality.
I would say this is a "flavored" response.

That's why I love these polls. WRX is so different than the buying public. Every year I try to figure out what that equates to.

[color=#222222]I always find it interesting that Titleist drivers always do well in the community choice awards, especially since they never seem to be in the discussion when the GRX community talks about distance (i.e. RFE, SLDR, Covert) or forgiveness (i.e. G25)[/color]

And as all all-around driver, it can suit [i]all[/i] the needs of a better player.

You look at the casual/ mid to high handicap population, and they may be steered towards more of the others due to needing more forgiveness, or more distance. They also would be more susceptible to believing mass advertising.

The Nike Covert Performance is a fairway finder. I was shooting my best scores with that driver but then, cause I'm an idiot, I started hitting other drivers in search of more distance.

Now I can't hit any drivers without snap hooking and I'm playing like dog crap.

I haven't hit the 913 so for now I vote Nike.
