Puttershoes and Drivershoes by BestGrips

A few years ago we introduced the Puttershoe to match designer and standard grips. They were simply headcover versions of our grips and from time to time we would do some sew-on designs...

Earlier this year we introduced custom embroidery to our stable of options and also added driver and fairway covers dubbed Drivershoes (and fairway/hybridshoes). Combine these two and you get some interesting, custom combinations like this one we made earlier in the year...

The majority of the headcovers are made with either our tan or black baseball glove leather (Major Leaguer). However, we have done some designer and exotics as well. The baseball glove leather handles the elements much better than other headcovers (wool, cloth, or vinyl) because it was specifically made to weather the weather.

In addition to the embroidery we also offer custom engraving. A Custom Puttershoe starts at around $65 (Major Leaguer) and goes up depending on material (that price is the finished price).

I can't wait to see the finished version of your new engraved Puttershoe!

Here is an example of the new white carbon fiber Puttershoe that will release next year!

Apart from being really unique (carbon fiber), this leather is insanely easy to keep clean and is our first "main-stream" white leather product!

Not as of right now. We played around with the universal sizes, but I'm not a fan. If you order a cover for your mallet it should fit like a glove. There are just too many sizes and shapes for us to commit to right now.

Yes. There is enough of that to probably make one or two (non-patchwork, one piece) wood covers.

Very nice. If there as good as your grips which I have on my clubs then the quality is one of the best I've seen. Too bad you don't make a wrap style grip for my r1. The stitch backs are fantastic though.

Thanks bp29! Glad you like the club grips! Which style do you use?

The peeling issue with the wrapped grip means that we probably won't ever revisit it. When we started making our own grips, that was the first issue addressed. I'm a firm believer in keeping the spine of the shaft on the same side as the ball. So I always pull the shaft when I find the right position, unless it's with the callaway xtreme (independent movement from shaft).

I use the classic club grip nothing fancy black.

This is a new for 2014 Designer Puttershoe, called Francesca. The Francesca Puttershoe features a new suave and glossy chocolate brown designer leather.

Just launched this today! While I am a big fan of the low key, plain leather look for headcovers, sometimes you want a little flare.
