While I don't condone this type of thread, my friend likes to say:

I guess this is the thread where I'm happy I went to a tech school? I don't get the whole animosity towards other colleges/universitites thing... or what's commonly called "rivals".

Taylor Lewan is a dirty player, and Michigan has looked awful since losing to Penn State. This game shouldnt be close. Ohio State 42 - Michigan 17.

I don't understand hating on teams.....except for NY teams (Boston fan). Routing for your favorite team is expected. It seems like everyone hates on Boston teams these days, guess they don't like winners.

I'm also a fan of DC teams (lived in the DC area for 20 years now).

Whatever, the entire OSU program has been dirty for years. Though I must admit my team stinks this year. It's a debacle. State 45 Michigan 10. I can't even give them the extra touchdown. Hopefully MSU shows up the tattoo loving buckeyes.

Has OSU made mistakes? Absolutely. But remember that no one is squeaky clean, even your Wolverines. Unfortunately these types of this have been going on for decades everywhere, doesn't make it right, but it does make people look terribly foolish when they point fingers at programs, when eventually they will run into major issues as well.

Not being a homer here at all but the scandal at OSU was the cover up (which is typically what gets you) not a couple of free tattoos and the fact that we received harsher penalties than say Penn State (after some of the sanctions were removed earlier this year) given what happened there is ridiculous. I don't know what defines "lack of institutional control" more than what happened in Happy Valley.

Like he said, your comment makes very little sense. While I agree some people don't understand the venom people have for other teams fans in general, you get it being a Boston fan and your dislike of New York squads, so why wouldn't you get Ohio State fans disliking Michigan (something thats been going on longer than Sox/Yankees.

The kicker? I forgot about that guy, if I remember he had all sorts of trouble. You're a kicker dude, calm down. Hope others realize it's some good natured ribbing before a game. Honestly I never got the craziness. I've seen 6 year old kids go nuts on people wearing the "other" teams gear.

Please say that you at least attend or attended Ohio State.

I did. As did my grandfather and a couple of my cousins.

Did you folks at OSU sing BINGO too? I bet you would have been good at it.

If only there was an OC on Michigan's sideline that had a clue, I could channel thoughts of 95 and 96. You know, times when OSU was so much better than Michigan, yet still couldn't win. I'm having a hard time recalling the last time U of M was that much better than OSU and still lost. I guess OSU tied them in 92.....

But it isn't going to happen. Al Borges will see to that. He has some talent to work with, but that talent is better suited for something other than what Al Borges does, and despite being the 3rd highest paid coordinator in the country, Borges can't adapt to his talent. He is running the perfect offense for Elvis Grbac, Todd Collins, etc., except that Gardiner isn't those guys, just like Robinson wasn't those guys.

Can't say I am rooting for a loss, but if it means a new OC next season, it will suck a little less.

Regardless of the outcome, I will continue to show courtesy and respect to the OSU grads I talk to, and make sure I order large fries from them.

+1 Seriously. The Big 10 is 7-20 vs top 25 teams. It's a joke, almost as big of a joke as the Big East.

While Im acutely aware of a noticeable decline in performance by traditional Big Ten powerhouses,( and it pains me to watch michigan sometimes)I'm thinking those from the PAC ten have zero to hang their hat on. I mean seriously, Stanford losing to Utah? Laughable. ASU losing to Notre Dame? Even more laughable. Oregon asking for Bama then promptly getting their asses handed to them by Arizona? Nice effort.

I think the Pac12 record against the Big Ten speaks for itself. I mean hasn't the Big 10 only won two Rose bowls in this Millennium? I just think the Pac 12 is a much deeper conference than the Big 10, especially this year. And whenever Oregon has been in the Rose Bowl I root against them as I went to Oregon State but I don't have any confidence in the Big 10.

It's not difficult at all to see how the big ten has mired in relative mediocrity for a number of years. And it's possible the Pac 12 has a more favorable record recently. But that wasn't the point I was trying to make. Quite frankly, outside of a few teams, they both suck as conferences. Which is tough to accept seeing as how storied both conferences are...

Bottom line is the sec has it on everyone and that's seemingly going to exist for awhile...

I loved the fact he decided to go for it. Not sure about the play call but loved the decision nonetheless...
