What is the best Mizuno MP all the time?

I was just curious, what is the best MP series all the time?

Please let me know what you think. You might also reply to the thread with your thoughts/reasons.

Classic " almost " pure blade design... I would be willing to wager ALOT of people use the MP32 or the MP33 as a transition into what is known as the modern muscleback.

That's my why.

My vote was the mp53s, great irons, smooth feel, look great at address and relatively forgiving! #team Mizuno!!

I own 32s and they are pretty nice, but had to vote for the MP14. The yardstick by what all others are measured. I know a lot of people like the 33s, but the 14s are the "one"

How can the answer not be a blade?

I loved my 52's, a great all around iron. Here comes the line skeptics love to hate; I should never have sold those.

I've only played 4 different sets, but the 32s are my favorite. Picked up a couple sets of them now to have backups.

This thread reminds me of how many MP sets I have owned! - I had one of the first sets of MP14's in the UK when there was only one place you could get them! - Since then I tried a number of other brands before returning to Mizuno - In the last few years I have had MP52 & MP62 before my current MP53's - I have just picked up a set of MP68's in the last few days so the 53's will become part of my long running Mizuno history ... Of course I like most of the releases, but I went with the mp62. Only reason is out of the few that I have the 62's looked the best...

Loved my 32s. Surprisingly easy to hit for being a blade. Lovely feel as well.

MP37. They stop you getting lazy...

MP33's were the best ever IMHO. Good blend of old and new.

tough question, but the MP4 is better than all of the old ones. a better forging, the e harmonic stuff works and a perfect blade design. used to really like the mp29, but the 4s are a notch above in my opinion

Shoulda put the 4s at the bottom . . . chronologically.

I played some of my best golf with the MP-9's. Also had good memories with the MP-14's being more forgiving - the MP 29 got my vote as it seemed to sit between the two models. It seemed like the MP's started losing some of it's softness in feel after the 29's - until the MP-4's came out. They feel softer than the 30's series to me & more like I remember the 9's.

Had to go with the 54's....their the only one's I can hit. Love them.

I loved my MP32, but I think the mp68 is more forgiving and has the more traditional muscle look than the 32. It is hard to argue with the great history of the MP 33. I had great times hitting MP14 as well.

I am torn. I can't pick two so I may not vote at all. LOL

I have to go with the 54's. Truly awesome irons in all aspects! However I haven't hit a mizzy I didn't like other than the 59's. I never liked the tungsten thing. I've played the 57, 59, 60, 64, 67, and 69. (Not I. That order of course) and now the 54. I'm thinking I will pick up a set of 4's here soon to make a combo set or just mix and match for fun. Those have got to be their best blade ever!

Pretty tough choice. I voted for the 33 because it's an iron I routinely go back to. I have not had the pleasure of gaming the 69 or 4 but I like the way those look.

I'm a little surprised the 59 has not received more votes. I think that is a world class iron

Hooray I was the first vote for the MP67. I just really like how the cut muscle looks/feels, plus you can make a really nice looking combo set with the original Cut Muscle Fli-Hi 2/3/4 irons.

I voted for the 62 as they feel, and play better than the 60, 57, 32, 37, and 52 I've owned.
I could probably play that set a lifetime, and will reward them with some Gripmaster leather grips before spring.
I am rather enjoying the extra forgiveness of my Scratch ez-1 though.

Mp14 all day for me.I've owned just about all of the sets listed except for the new MP 4.for some reason, the MP 14 feels the best and works the best for me.I had a set of un stamped prototypes that I sold for very cheap recently that I will regret until the end of my days.

I voted for the MP 29 only because the MP 9 wasn't listed. I think it was/is the best MP iron of all time. Notice how Nike and Titleist both copied the design in the VR Pro Blades and 710 & 712 MBs.

Another mp-53 vote here... Perfect blend of a player's club and GI. Plus, sooo sweet and soft.

I voted for the MP37. I used to think the MP33 was the top of the heap, and for accolades and reputation it gets the nod. But I got a set of MP37s cheap off eBay to send them to get refinished, to test the refinishing prior to sending my beloved MP33s to get refinished. Well, I shafted up the MP37s when they arrived to play them a few times (why not?), and the MP33s are still sitting in the garage, never having been sent off for refinishing, and unused since the MP37s went into play. The best way to describe the feel of the MP37s is to imagine pounding a large nail with a heavy hammer into soft, wet lumber. It's like there's no resistance and the ball just goes!!

A buddy of mine plays MP52s, and hit my MP37s on the range, and was blown away by the solid feel. Now he wants me to make up a set for him just like mine.

I've had every MP iron in the last 8 years or so in LH. Several sets of MP 30s and MP 60s as well as MP 53s. Of all the ones I've tried in LH the ones I think are the best are the two sets I still own, the MP 53 and MP 68s.

I love my 64s - i have played the 63s and used a friends 53s but the 64s are my favorite. I could see myself playing these for a long long time.

The other ones were great but the 64s look sexy and they feel even better.
