That is a HUGE win for us. Completely satisfied with the Rose Bowl win and a likely top 3 ranking. Coming into the season I was hoping for 6 wins and a low end bowl.

Plus we're returning a good amount of offense and all our coaches. Next season could be good too

Now if Ohio St wins at least the top end of the B1G proves itself. The bottom end, ugh.

Very nice win for Sparty even though I'm a Wolverine. Awesome defense. And am I the only one that hates that B1G big 10 logo?

As a Buckeye and Big Ten fan I was happy to see MSU pull off the victory. A huge win for the program and the conference. Let's see if OSU can hold up their end of the bargain... though I really am not confident in the game. It's a bad matchup for the Buckeyes. A team with a explosive offense, a great QB and very good WRs. OSU's defense is terrible and the worse yet their pass defense is literally a joke. Now factor in the seemingly BS suspension of Noah Spence (easily their best pass rusher), an injury to Bradley Roby who looks doubtful for the game and then key injuries to Christian Bryant and Grant and this game looks bad for the Buckeyes. I think the Bucks are going to need 45+ to pull off a victory unless they really slow the game down.

Nope I think pretty much everyone hates it.

If OSU wins, that will give the Big 10 a good little kick of credit for next year. I don't see why we wouldn't get one of the four playoff bids for our conference champ provided they have 1 or no losses overall.

I hate to quote my own post but I pretty much called this one. Man the Bucks defense is terrible. Having 3 of their 4 best defenders out certainly killed them. Roby, while he definitely wouldn't have stopped Watkins, he is the only guy on the D that can run with him.... I think Roby being out was huge. The bucks were forced to start a true freshman who barely played all year and he got worked all night long. Hopefully Urban wises up and makes some changes on defense. The D has been a big problem for 3 season now and there is 1 common denominator... Luke Fickell...

Hope they dump Fickell too..... How many times did they give up that little wide receiver screen play to Watkins? The worst play of the game was that muffed punt though. The offense scored, the defense finally came up with a good, quick stop, and the Buckeyes were ready to just run Hyde down Clemson's throats again and that guy had to decide not to just take a fair catch.

Ohio State was 285-0-1 when scoring 35 or more points. Too bad that streak came to an end and 2 BCS bowl wins would have been nice for the Big Ten.

Lol no. I think the media liked the move and people around the university liked the move. Fans were probably 50/50 on it but I would say now it's more like 70/30 against the move. The fact is, Fickell was a bright young position coach and def coordinator. By many accounts he was the coach in wings for when tress was going to retire (I personally feel he was 5-7 years from retiring when the scandal broke). Fickell was being groomed. He was thrust into a horrible situation and handled the adversity admirably but also showed he wasn't near ready to be a head coach. I think urban keeping him on the staff and letting him keep his head coaching pay was a very honorable move to show good faith. However, at this point it simply isn't working. Fickell has been the co defensive coordinator since 2005. However, for the first 5 of those years Jim Heacock was the one who mattered and was really just grooming Fickell to take on the job when Heacock retired. Since the Tat-Gate Fickell has taken on a larger role as coordinator and the defensive has seriously suffered. Piss poor tackling, vanilla coverage and blitzing schemes. Fickell is a great recruiter and a great positional coach. The leash just has too much slack in it right now.

If I was a M State fan I would buy this bag in a heartbeat.
