Golf Channel On the range

Does anyone know if the G.C. will be bringing back on the range this year?

wondering this too. just looked at the guide to dvr and wasn't able to find it.

I for some reason was thinking no, but it'd be terribly disappointing if that were the case. Really enjoyed it

One of the very best features they had.

Figures they would ax a golf show about golf. That channel infuriates me. I wish I knew how to quit you.

LOL. Probably. Sorry for the rant but I thought the show was very interesting. How often do you get to hear it directly from the Pros. Pretty bad decision if you ask me.

i'm not much of a Feherty fan but it's amazing that his is the only show on GC where serious golf people actually sit still for an hour and have anything remotely resembling a nuanced golf conversation. and i wouldn't be surprised if ownership is currently looking at ways to water that down with 200% more comedy!

any other time there's sustained discussion it's all typical talking head conjecture. except for that brief and strange shining moment when they had Architect's Week, which was kind of surreal.

On the Range is my fav GC show. They show pros hitting practice shots with commentary that I can relate to, and doesn't get into the weeds of mechanics too much. I take away more from this show than from any Michael Breed instruction...

Pretty disappointing. Add me to the list of those who really enjoyed watching On the Range.

Agreed, I actually enjoyed it. It was nice to watch.

This is a shame. Best show they had.

i'd be interested in the reasons or factors that went into cancelling. Was my favorite show also. Am i in the minority. did it draw bad ratings? too expensive to produce? Heck, GC could just stick a camera on swiveling tripod on the range and televise the coverage without analysts and i'd find that more interesting than half the crap they show.

I don't understand how getting rid of your best looking girls and your most entertaining shows is a recipe for success.

Winn was great, and so was On the Range.

It seems like their target demographic is no longer people that actually golf.

While we are at it, does the stupid pre-game show infuriate anyone else? Why do I want to listen to Brandel Cham (that's where his name should stop... just a sham) talk about what people need to do on the golf course for an hour, when there are currently people on the freaking golf course that I could be watching play real golf?!

You know what else we need? More Big Break! We could have Big Break [i]Insane Asylum[/i], Big Break [i]Bikini Edition[/i], Big Break [i]I just took up the game a month ago[/i], Big Break [i]Washed up athlete from another sport that thinks they can play golf[/i] (oh, wait...).

Less shows about golf, less of actual golf and more Big Break. That's the way to go!

I actually liked this show quite a bit. It got you ready for the tournament for the next day. I'm beginning to think this whole NBC thing is a mistake.

Cant beleive it. It has to be cheap to produce, disapointed in GC.

Wow, I really liked watching On The Range. It was nice being able to just watch the pros swing, and also seeing the practice techniques they use. Also the inside info on equipment changes was a big plus.

I hate the Pre-game show more than anything! I want to watch golf for christ's sake, not some people talking about golf. Blows my mind, especially when they do it during a major or the Ryder cup when matches are already going on.

FYI

Only us on GolfWRX were watching On The Range which equates to .0001 % of the Golf World.

I knew the show would get cancelled because it was good and made sense.

Complain to the golf channel, maybe it would get there attention if all of WRX did.

What is taking its place during that timeslot?
