Those SM5's are slick, and remind me of the TVDs. With the new grind options, I'm betting they'll eat into the TVD sales. Maybe that will create the market for JP's wedges (custom/higher end/non-retail).

I have a pair of the DNAs but it's snow and ice til March. They are awesome in person and feel great walking around the basement :-) Can't wait to try them on the course!

I really want to like the DNA's but there was something about them I just didnt care for. I finally figured it out looking at these pictures and its the Patent leather accent on each colorway. It just doesn't suit my eye for some reason. The spikeless dryjoys are nice though the midesole kind of reminds me of the lunarlon stuff from Nike.

The more I look at the DNAs the more I like them--wish the dimples were the same throughout, but the white are classy and the black look awesome. The casual shoes look great, too, especially the white ones. And are the color gloves in the SofJoy line?

The Contour Casual line has been my favorite shoe ever since they came out but I don't see any here. Probably just no pics as I doubt FJ would drop that line. Love that FTF (?) in the grey/red combination.

I got a reply from Wedgeworks on an email l sent asking about the differences between the new SM5 wedges with the different grinds and the TVD line. I'll post the contents (rather long & detailed) in a separate thread. Suffice to say there ARE some differences (still) and that made me happy after just shelling out the extra cash for three new TVD's.

I hope those DNA's are good in snow because I still have 2 months of winter left! Then again I remember las year walking out on a pond to chip my ball off the ice back on the green. Do they have interchangeable spikes for better traction on ice?!
