Ocean Club - Bahamas

Anyone played it? thoughts/comments/suggestions? I'm heading down there in a couple weeks

I played it when i was there. we played in the afternoon aroudn 230. Got paired up with a single and didnt see anyone else the rest of the way. its a resort course so its kinda of open. the middle of the course along the ocean is gorgeous. def fun to play but once was good for me

I've played it a couple of times. It's a fun course and can get very windy at times. A few non-descript holes, but there are some really pretty holes right along the ocean and the views are great. I'm going to be back there in a couple of weeks and have two tee times set up. I'll post up a few pictures tonight when I get home from work.

Here are a few photos from my round there last February. The last photo was taken from the 17th tee. You need to hit it around the tree to get to the fairway. I had to take it out over the beach and draw it back (lefty).

Heading down in March and looks like the Ocean Club is the only option. I am staying in a house near Atlantis. The guest Green fees are $375

I will be here in 30 days and I have made my tee times. Can't wait!

Just booked a couple of tee times for the first week in March. This is our 4th time going to Atlantis and I really enjoy the course. Hopefully the greens are a little better than they were during the LPGA tournament last week.

Did it seem so hard to find availability when you called to set a tee time?

What days are you playing? I too will be there the first week. I have a morning and afternoon round booked. Bound to get paired up with someone, so I wouldn't mind playing a round with a WRX'r versus some random person.

They seemed to have availability when I called. I'm playing on Mon 2/29 and Wed 3/2 at 10:30. That gives me enough time to have breakfast with my wife and son, catch the shuttle from the hotel to the golf course, and warm up. If you want to play one of those days I'm up for it.

I've played it a few times. As others have noted, fairly open but if it's windy can be a brutal test. I actually watched a palm tree get blown over there during one round.

It's expensive if your not comped by the Atlantis. And with Cable Beach club closed, it's the only (public) game in town.

Played two rounds this week - just a warning that the greens are not in great shape. Pretty disappointing given the price, but I expected it after the poor state of the greens during the LPGA event last month. At least the weather was great and the rest of the course was fine.

Played my round today. The greens are supposedly as fast as they've been over the last few days. They seemed true today. Some downhill putts were fairly well paced. Enjoyed the round though! Lots of excellent views. Played and seen better though.

Greens were on the slower side, true treat to play here though. Views are awesome.

amazing course. Just finished playing it. Views were spectacular
