What loft was he playing pre SLDR?

The TP irons would look much better in all black like this.

They have heads that spec out a lot higher than the printed loft on Tour, just to get the mental side of using more loft out of the players heads…..I'm more curious at the Jetspeed fairway...I can't tell from the bag pics, but the hosels on these look longer, not a lot, but slightly. They maybe already have longer bendable hosel versions out there….they surface with the Stage 2 later in the year last year.

I thought the pros weren't going to play the Jetspeeds. That is what some taylor made people told me. So many tm pros are still playing the original rocket ball series in the s or the p. They must of come out with a better player head with the jet speed.

Carl Petterson and Sergio both played a longer hosel Stage 2 fairway last year…….I've seen several Jet Speed drivers and fairways in the Tour pics…..they usually build Tour Only versions for bending such as these:

In December I was told by a TMAG Employee that there would be TP Jet Speeds with more of a players head profile.

That would be interesting. The "Burner" series woods have always gotten a ton of Tour use, starting back with the 07' Burner TP fairways that are still in some players bag to this day. Some players on Tour also like to spin their fairways more to hit different shots.

Looking at the photos and comparing them to the retail Jetspeed, the hosel length is not noticably longer. The longer ferrule obviously makes it look slightly different.

I hope they do come out with a TP Jetspeed. I still think the '07 Burner TP is one of the best ever made. An update would be awesome.

Funny that most of the TM Staffers haven't put the new wedges in play... Seems like maybe TM missed the mark again? I saw them at the show but didn't get a chance to hit them yet.

I would be very interested in a jet speed tp 3 wood lofted around 14/14.5

It's hard to really tell, the ferrule is throwing me off too. If it is longer, it's only slightly longer, not like the longer hosel version they made of the Stage 2.

My coach is a TM staffer, and he got to talk to the guys in the TMAG trailer in Phoenix. They said their driver builds have been 80% SLDR and 20% JetSpeed. Didn't mention what the percentages for FW's have been.

The new TP blades look amazing. Can't wait to get mine later this year. Really don't give a toss about the SLDR hype. No way it's longer than my I20.

Tour issue Jetspeed fairways have a longer hosel as well as a deeper face profile with full face scoring lines, and 0.335" tip.

Nice. That was a quick release, usually takes longer for them to come out with different variations….especially with the big push of the SLDR woods.

So there is a deeper faced jet speed? Are they shaped like the original rocketballz or the stage 2? I thought taylor made would do something with this wood for its tour staff. The retail looked to shallow for tour players. Any plans to get this wood out to the retail market?

I was just thinking yesterday about what his newest WITB would look like and wallah. It's like Greg has the ability to read our minds.

Great stuff again. Interesting he sated with the C Tape S+ shafts in the new TP irons

Surprised he's not playing the new wedges, but more surprised at the Jetspeed 3W. As others have stated, looks like he is just trying it out. My guess would be that he will end up bagging the SLDR 3W.
