It's been almost a year since the trip to the Oven and I've finally decided to officially do a WITB. Because the bag was heavily discussed in the Oven thread, I won't go too deep into describing the bag, except to highlight any changes that have been made. I'm also going to add pics of the back-up bag and my small putter collection.

The only change in the bag has been the return of the VR LTD 3 and 5. The Covert Tour 3 and 5 that I was fitted for didn't really work out. The 5 wood was pretty good, but I couldn't really hit the 3 wood off the deck. The VR 3 wood has a Diamana Ahina 70 S. The VR 5 wood has the stock Nike Ahina S, but will be changed soon.

Kind of funny story on the Bio Cell and the Ltd. I left for vacation the day the MM Protos were released. I ordered the Bio Cell + the week before I left. The fact that it never showed is what prompted me to take the 3 Nike fwys out for a showdown. And after falling back in love with the Ltd, the only reason I even got the Cobra is because the rep made me one of those can't refuse offers. I had given up on it ever showing.

And yes, the Bio Cell has to be awesome to beat the Ltd. But I'm going to give it a fair chance.

I ordered the driver with the new Blueboard. The whiteboard is no upcharge, but I thought it might be too low launch. I also just picked up an older Fubuki shaft to try out. I'll get some pics of it.

Very nice bag. I have been searching for a new 3wood for a long time now, I bought Tour Issue SQII and Tour Issue Dymo prototype fairways that I am going to give a run. Im very interested in the Vapor fairway with the fixed hosel. I have heard that alot of guys still prefer the SQII and VR LTD fairways over the Coverts. Anyone done any comparing of the old SQII against the coverts? Finding a good 3wood is so so hard. Toughest club for me to find now.

Thx for posting. I had a SQ2 3 and 5 wood that my rep said came from the tour dept. I never 100% figured out exactly what that meant, but they were really good. I dumped them when I got my Covert 1.0 Tours. MISTAKE. Should have just put them in the spare bag and kept them. From what I can remember, the SQ2 3 wood (w/Aldila NV 75s) was a little shorter than the CT 1.0 off the tee, but way better in every way off the turf. The 5 woods were pretty equal.

I would love to get my hands on the Covert long hosel that the tour guys have/had. It looked a lot like the VR Ltd.

It's a pretty close race right now between the VR ltd and the Bio Cell +. The VR ltd is a little longer I think, but the last two rounds have been strictly Bio Cell and it has worked out pretty good. Plan on getting a few more rounds with it and then changing back to the VR ltd for a few. See what happens.

I think TiNi was the best stock shaft nike ever offered since the Aldila NV. I am going to try and find a used one and get it re tipped with the new lighther flex loft adapter.

The TiNi is a solid shaft. I also liked the VS Proto that was avail in the SQ 5000 driver.

I'll have to get a few adaptors to try if the Elements Chrome doesn't work in the Vapor Pro head (assuming my driver from the Oven ever shows.

Iron set up now consists of VRS Forged 4 iron and VPC 5-PW. I got the irons to the course for the first time last night. So far so good. It was hard to tell in distance, but the ball flight was nice. Looked to be very similar in launch to the VRS forged irons. I'm playing in an event this weekend where my club plays against another in a Ryder Cup style format. I'm playing Sunday singles, so hopefully a good review will be up this weekend. Supposed to be 65 and sunny...so the weather won't be a factor.

Thx. I've won my last two singles matches after losing a few. Hope to continue the winning ways.

I'm hoping to hi them again on the course or range Sat. I'm taking my wife to Atlanta for a CPA exam. The testing center is five mins from an executive course. It has a pretty good range. Maybe some time in the simulator tomorrow.
