Don't think they're forged, maybe...but there seems to be a CTP if you look closely. Really clean CTP if that is indeed one.

Are you certain there's no insert? Some of the photos make it look like there might be a silver colored insert in the channel behind the face, like the S55 and the i25s.

Saw these earlier on another site. They look really good. Hopefully they won't change the look if they bring them to retail. I also like how they are using the SS designation like Scratch Golf does. Seems like an easier way to fit people.

These look great. Hope these get released as is in the satin finish. Liked the gorge wedges but wasn't a fan of the darker finish. Need some satin wedges to go with my s56's.

Awesome! Love the stealth weight port, and love that they continue to put weight ports in all their irons and wedges.

For someone who mentioned the SS "like Scratch does", you should know that SS for PING means Standard Sole. Then they usually have WS for Wide Sole. TS for Thin Sole. I don't know that they are necessarily different grinds, the main difference is the width of the sole.

There are almost 15 grinds that can be applied to TS, SS or WS. The TS, SS, and WS indeed refer to sole width NOT the grind. Well said above!

They are most certainly not forged. The ping ansers were forged, but ended up not spinning enough for anybody. I use to have a set of anser wedges, you could spin a 3 iron off a parking lot easier.

Great looking wedge. If they released them as they are, minus the 'prototype' badge, they'd be onto a winner. Manufacturers need to learn than in most instances, less is more.

That's weird I had an Anser 54 and 60 and loved them, spinned fine.
