New Pro V1?

Just checked out the Players slideshow on the Scotty Cameron website and noticed something interesting in the pic of J.B.'s putter.

If you look real close...It seems to me that the sight line is missing on his ball. Its just a "<" and the "P" is right next to it. Also looks like the "P" and the rest of the letters are in the same font as the new logo on the mesh hats.

 

I might be jumping the gun but go look for yourself.

HAHAHA dude r u seriously! this is the old pro v1. J.B has not used a circa putter in years almost. It picture you got here is way old. As for the a new pro v1 ball. Soon maybe next season!

Did you even look at where I said I got the pic from???? Notice that it came from the 2008 Players Championship slide show on the Scotty Cameron website. Why would the Scotty Cameron website post old pictures in there 2008 section??? I dont think they would.

Actually, he was carrying multiple putters in his bag this week at the Players practice. On the coverage today, he is using a belly length Rife. I know JB was using the Spider earlier in the year. Perhaps he was just testing the Scotty on the range? Not to mention he might prefer the older Pro V over the new one? Perhaps this is a proto of the new ball coming out?

I am not claiming its a proto of a new ball. I thought it looked different and knew they were in the process of bringing a new Pro V1 out. So I put 2+2 and thought what the heck...it looked pretty interesting and thought some people would like to check it out and see for themselves.

Yea...odds are it is just an older pro-v....but I guess its just the way its sitting or the light or something that makes the font look different to me. Who knows.

I imagine it's quite likely that a new one is coming in the nearish future due to the patent infringement issues. It will be "better" because it won't infringe on other companies patents.
