Colored ProV1's

I took a dozen ProVs and dyed them blue and yellow for a friend and they came out perfect! Not super dark blue, but like a good shade to where you can easily read titleist and prov1 and still get a great blue! And the yellow isn't like a Srixon yellow, but still looks great and bright! He hasn't played them yet, and i was wondering if it could affect the play of the ball, and will they be aloud in tourneys? Just wondering, why doesn't titleist make yellow provs, yellow balls are very popular and i feel they would sell, would any of you ever use yellow or any other colored Provs? Sorry i don't have pics, my phone broke and i'll try to borrow a camera to take a pic.

How'd you dye them? Sounds like an easy way to mark your ball

Can't speak to what affect it would have on the play though.

just some basic dye from a local art store, i forget the brand, but i am going to do some more this weekend and I will try to let you know and also try and get a pic! Also, i want to play a couple to see if the dye stays on through a round, if so i feel like i could sell them haha jk

Dyed them per above youtube video and yes the dye stays on. The ball has a Harley Davidson logo but it's a 3 layer ball which feels great and the price I get them for is crazy.

What's the idea behind dying golf balls? Just to have a colored ball? I personally really enjoy white balls, but I know colored balls are fairly popular.

personally, i like white as well, but yellow is becoming very popular, and half the people i play with use Provs, so i thought i could dye and re-sell them.
