REALLY impressed by the work. Do you guys refinish metal wood titanium/stainless faces and soles, too?

Noticed that you also offer hotmelt services. Do you allow customers to dictate where the hotmelt is placed? I've got a matte black driver head with a black face and I've always preferred gloss and a silver face. Your pictures have me extremely tempted!
Yeah, but I'd say it's not guaranteed for all heads. I requested it on my Bio Cell + and at Continental's recommendation, we decided not to do it. There's a funky side-hosel port on that head that the tech said would be a crapshoot to plug.
Mine, however, is a non-adjustable head and I'm guessing they could simply drill the port into the bottom of the hosel and inject from there...I'd want the weight low, forward, and center so I think it should be possible.

Off topic, but the slot doesn't get plugged on the Bio Cell + heads, it's just an open hole into the cavity. If you want melt in a certain area or put all around the cavity, you have to heat the head and flow it to get it there.

If the face and the sole have a stainless finish on it we can refinish it to original no problem at all. The black anidozed finish however we do not have the process to put that back to original. Thanks

I'm curious.. How does the new finish hold up to heat when you have to pull a shaft?
We have never had any issues with our paint holding up to heat when reshafting a golf club. We don't use a torch to pull metal wood heads off either way but with a heat gun which is our normal process you will have zero issues if you have experience doing so. If you have any other questions please let me know.

About the holt melt. I will find out what we exactly use for this. We have a couple guys gone to the pga show this week that handle that side of the things so I let you know what is going on there first of next week. Sorry for the delay.

Also I have a couple more pictures for you guys to look at...

JPX 850 that we painted gloss black - R1 driver in the matte orange - Purple Taylormade driver

Either way, I didn't want to fill my club head with any sort of flowing substance without being able to completely seal the head afterwards.

Can metal woods be refinished without pulling the shaft? I've got a hybrid I l love, but I hate the crown paint color. I'd like to repaint it, but I don't want to pull the shaft for fear of it not performing the same again. I'm slightly superstitious about that kind of thing.
+1 on this, I have the same superstition.

No problem at all! If you send the club in with a shaft already attached we leave it in the club actually for the refinish process unless you state you wanted something done to the shaft. Putter refinishing on the other hand is a different story, we have to remove the shaft to be able to grind the head to smooth out dings on 90 percent of putters. Thanks.

Also for the member was asking about a nike covert in matte black. Here is a picture we had of a matte black nike with the swoosh staying white.

Could you take the gold off the bottom and face of a cleveland classic? Looking to get the head done in the same color as the SLDR, but would like the bottom silver also if its possible.
That would be no problem at all but the bottom of the club would have to be more of a satin finish like the RBZ driver you see on the page. The face we could keep the same brushed look as you currently have on the face but just the gold removed. Thanks

This may seem an odd question, but do you paint shafts, too? I was inspired by one of your photos in this thread to put together a driver to honor my daughter's health struggles, but no shaft I like fits with the scheme I have in mind. I suppose I could paint it myself, but thought perhaps your paint, techniques, and facilities might be better than what I can conjure up at home, and result in a higher quality final product. It would be a new shaft I would look at painting, prior to installation, I expect. Thanks in advance!

What about logos that aren't engraved in the metal that cannot accommodate paintfill? If the customer still wants the logos do you tape them off or find replacement decals?

Most 3 woods have the number painted on the hosel. How do you maintain that?

We can take the current shaft or a new shaft and do that for you no problem at all. If it is your existing shaft we may have to regrip the golf club though. What are you thinking about having done to the club? Do you have a head that is already painted to a certain scheme that you want? Feel free to give us a call here or shoot us a message and we can figure out exactly what you want.

To get an idea of price a basic 1 color paint of a shaft alone is 20 dollars.

Thanks very much

Good questions! We are authorized with some companies like Taylormade and can get some logos to replace that are exactly like you see. Some of the clubs we have to tape off the decal but also some clubs this is just not an option. As for numbers like lofts etc, we actually have decals that go on the club and they can also be custom so for example if your favorite number is 55 we can put that instead of the loft on the heel of a driver.

For some customers they have sent us personal decals they want on the clubs and if they are thin it is an option (keep in mind sometimes they are just not usable)

Let me know if you have any other questions about it. Thanks!

Will the finishes hold up to acetone and heat?
Our finishes will hold up as good if not better than factory paints. We don't recommended acetone to any painted surface as it can soften a painted gloss or matte finish. We use mineral spirits as its much better for the finished product.

As far as heat goes it will also hold up no problem, I mentioned it early in the thread but we have never had any issues with it.

I hope this answers your questions and have a great day

I'd like my BB DBD painted Brazen Orange Metallic to match my GTO!
We have actually done a couple "longhorn" orange that was very close to that color.

Also we can paint the bottom of the g30s no problem. The pink G30 looked great with the bottom painted.

Thanks everyone!
