That is great to hear. I'm constantly surprised by how few golf brands and models carry the extra wide shoes. Really limits my choices.

NB shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Will definitely have to check these out when they are available. Awesome they come in a 15 too, it is hard to find shoes that fit me.

[/quote]When I used to race he got me a pair with my car number on the back of the heel instead of the model number of the shoes. Still a friend.

This is not NB's first attempt at golf shoes. I had two pair of their shoes back in 2002. They were traditional shoes like everybody else was making. Their advantage was being available in widths for my box like feet. I don't think they were on the market very long. Perhaps they should have gone with something modeled on their running shoes back then. I will be visiting the local NB store soon to have a look at these.

I do remember this. They weren't in the market very long. Maybe a couple of tests, but the shoes while the fit was great, weren't thought out very well and they looked like very other shoe. It was hard to tell them apart, save for the big "N" on the side of them.

Which models have light, moderate stability support for the overpronators? Also, why are they starting at size 8 when their running shoes start at 7?

The Minimus are available now. The others will be available at the end of March.

Nice to see New Balance back in the golf market again. I'm sure the increased popularity in athletic golf shoes was a factor. The white 574s look sick.

My friend just got back from Daytona.

If you look at the NewBalance.com site when looking at/through all the shoes, if you see a "Made in the USA" logo, that's where they are made. No logo, made elsewhere (They have factores everywhere, even UK).

Right now, the Minimus and Minimus LX are available.

I've asked him about the non-Minimus lines, 574 and that other one that we can't see the number, when will they be available (tbowles and Goober say March, so I'm inclined to believe them) and sizes.

Tgw is showing the other non minimus line as the 2002 model. Search for NBG2002 on their site.

I got tired of waiting and ordered the 574's through the local New Balance Store. Paid more then most the online sites, but very easy exchange policy made me more comfortable in the event they are a little to narrow. Should have them by next week.

Apparently NB is having issues factory/back order issues with the 574. I was told 5-7 days when I purchased them. Now, weeks later, they still have not left the factory, and they could not give me a hard date. After hearing "It could be as early as tomorrow, or it could be another week" for a third time, I just took a refund.

Loved my minimus runners, and looking for a pair of light shoes for summer. These might fit the bill! just need to find them in Canada, hopefully Golf Town will carry them.
