Bridgestone e5 - 2014 vs 2015

I played the 2013/2014 e5 for the majority of last year, and it has been my primary gamer. I tend to pick a ball, and stick to it for awhile.

I started running low on the 2014's, and picked up the 2015's today. At first glace, the new dimple pattern is noticeable. Looks much closer to a Callaway with the new pattern. For me, that's not a bad thing at all.

Just curious if anyone has put the new e5 in play at all? Should I be expecting anything different, or really just a slightly new look? I'll fill in my reviews once I get some side by side comparisons, but if anyone has any insights before I hit the grass this weekend, I'd love to hear it!

Not a huge change. New dimple pattern, 110 of the old dual dimples, 116 web dimples, which give 10% more surface coverage, giving it better aerodynamics in high velocity situations. Should be a touch longer, and just as soft(the core and cover materials went unchanged). I feel like it gets a touch more greenside spin than the previous version.

Was told by Bridgestone only diff. are the dimples. Wish they would have made it softer.
