my custom putter (who can make this???) please help....

I'm looking for a custom putter to be made and I'm hoping someone can tell me who can make it for me...I'm wanting a heel shafted,faced balanced head at 365g...I want it to look similar to a squareback or a Yes Donna, an answer style head that has a larger flange. I really like that style head and the longer sightline...I'm looking for any custom putter maker to step up and say "I can make that".......

Chris, thats definetly what I'm talking about...but with a double bend shaft...no neck....How much does that beauty weigh???

I had him shave off alot of this one to get it to 356 grams. If I remember corectly, he has made one with a double bend shaft. I'll have to check thru some old threads.

 

Here's it on the scale before the hosel was bent and another of what it looked like before the osel was welded on.

Ok, after contacting Tom Slighter, giving him my desired dimensions weight and putter finish I decided to go another route due to the large $$$ figure he came up with...I then came into contact with Charlie Dixon of Home Town Putters who was more than willing to create my custom putter......The putter still needs it's black oxide finish and paintfill, the shafting and grip will soon follow.....So what do you think???

 

As you can see Charlie is creating some real nice pieces...

That is going to look awesome once it's finished and paintfilled... that is a serious chunk of putter.... Looks to be be extremely well crafted and the lettering looks so precise... Too cool.

The width is 2 inches and the length is 4 inches, similar to the Scotty squareback and it ended up weighing 359g...I think the angle that the middle pic was taken at makes it look bigger than it really is........... but yes still a " serious chunk of putter"....

 

The lettering has been engraved, I've never been a fan of handstamps, there never neat or clean enough IMO.........

I have a carbon steel one that I am working on. I will offer it with a plumber's neck and double bend shaft. I have a prototype now, just waiting to get a few more things right and I will bring it to market in a week or so.

The putter in post #17 is in its final stage of finishing..... It since has been beadblasted and just had the black oxide done Today and paintfill should happen tonight or tomarrow....I will post pics no later than tomarrow of its progress...........

Mine will be done in 3x black oxide with a matte finish on the top line and flange of the putter. The bottom and face will be gloss....The matte is to reduce glare when looking down at the putter....

Here she is... all thats left is shafting and gripping....keep in mind there was a little lint on the putter when the pics were taken and the sole being so shiny picked up the grain in the table through reflection...
