Have you been a member there before? Do you feel you end up getting your dues worth? Just wondering. Not ready for a full on membership anywhere yet, but my buddies and I have been throwing around splitting the Corporate membership at GVR next season. I wish it wasn't so far away though!

We pay $349/month for unlimited rounds and range, no cart fees or anything. $20 monthly food minimum (20% off food and 15% off pro-shop) but their food is good, so we tend to eat there at least once a month anyways.

They hit off dirt year round and have a great practice facility as well (two putting greens, bunker play, chip/pitch and heated bays for winter hitting).

We can play Fox Hill and GVR for 30$ with our membership as well.

We also travel to AZ a lot and get huge discounts at a lot of the courses down there since we are members up here (like we get at Fox Hill and GVR). Guessing management company is the same or sisters or something.

If you say a round of golf costs $50 for each of us to play and she plays once a weekend with me, just on greens fees we make our money back if we play once a week. That doesn't account for the unlimited range balls and the other 2-3 rounds I play on weekends (I tend to play 4 rounds on weekends). I will also play 9-12+ holes a few times during the week after work so during the golf season out here (~7-8 months) we definitely get our money worth. The other 4-5 months we break even or loose a bit but again with how much golf we get in during the season we come out ahead.

My only complaint is how the course is ran. It's a great track but the ownership is not really smart how they run the course. IMO they have their priorities messed up. The course could be maintained better and they could provide a bit better service out there. Instead all they care about is bottomline $. So the lack of marshals, lack of cart guys, lack of maintenance crew is very apparent. Pace of play I have gotten used to but is horrible after 11am (5 hour round pretty typical on weekends). The crews (maintenance, carts, pro shop) are all ran on skeleton crews and it's apparent.

However, with what I am trying to do with my game it's a great deal for me and provides the challenges I am looking for at a very affordable price. You get what you pay for but this is still one **** of a deal. Since it is a skeleton crew, it's easy to bring guests out as my wife XD
