It's not on par but still decent. I love the Lunar Controls, and have the original Masters Edition from 2012. My best looking golf shoes are my all-white Dryjoy Tours. But that's pretty much where it stops.

I've had them for a whole season and plan to keep them this year too. They've been great, just forgiving enough on my bad days to help out.

Only one round on them but I'm really glad Mizuno brought back the C-grind on these. The T4s grabbed in the heel sometimes and didn't really have much of a grind, if any.

EditL the main picture had a lot of noise in it due to low light shooting. Cleaned it up a bit, it now looks closer to IRL.

They can do gloss and flat black (and other combos) as part of their design lab, but then the driver would cost $450.

They can do gloss and flat black (and other combos) as part of their design lab, but then the driver would cost $450.

And yet with all the deals running on the + heads, you can wait around for the ugliest and cheapest one possible. An additional $40 for a repaint isn't that bad.

[b]Note:[/b]I had requested hot melt, but it turns out this head has a funky port. It's actually through the MyFly window and is left uplugged for all the heads. I have a feeling this is why some of them sound so funky. I added several cotton balls through there yesterday but who the heck knows when I'll hit golf balls again this winter.

I have an 18* MP FliHi with a C Taper S+ and like you mentioned, the shaft is a great compliment to the easiest-to-hit 2 iron out there!

That's a solid setup. I found that I liked the C-Taper Lite even better in the Taylormade UDI head. I suppose it's a little softer and launches a little higher, but the ball flight seemed more repeatable. The lower total weight's effects were easily fixed with a tip weight.

No doubt, you can find them for pretty cheap too! I had wanted to put another Elements Chrome in the 4-wood, but could not justify the 3x price premium.

Loved the feel and consistency of the Elements (tried the DK, RK, and MK). I remember when they first surfaced it was $300 apiece, now they are under $100. Great value for sure.

Sadly, I can't speak to that. The MK 85 was so hard to find and I got pretty lucky on eBay. I suppose it's easier now to just get an Elements Earth, since they are the exact same shaft.

For a while last season I was really keen on trying out UST's new iRod hybrid shaft, but ended up reaplcing my hybrid with a 5 wood.

cool...how do you like the iRod? Love my recoil protos, so the iRod could be a winner with the same tech and a little hybrid tweak. Replaced my hybrid shaft anyway...went back to my old trusty Zeus Proto...it's a bit lite and a telephonepole - but it works.
