I dont think any junior, no matter how good they are would shoot below 70 round there... for the majority lets say single figures, most would be in the high 80 low 90s... I really want to play a major course set up how it is for them, im going to try and play Birkdale on the monday or something like that... see how i fair!

I got a chance to play Torrey 12/26/08 and ended up shooting 76. Felt like the best 76 I have ever shot and only had one birdie, number 3.

****, you played it in December of this year already. I'm sure you meant 2007.
BUT, when I was in San Diego for the US Junior 2 years ago, my swing coach (caddy for the week) went and played it twice after I MC'd and I didn't play because I was caddying for a friend who made match play. But he shot 76 both times.

i shot 83, a week before they closed down for the open. The rough was almost what they had it for the open. I am a two handicap too. I made 5 doubles, 3 bogeys, and two birdies.

They had some of the tee's closed off for the Buick, but I played as far back as I was allowed. I think it was the Tour (Blue) tees. And yes.. I meant 2007 lol

My club is actually holding the 2009 Women's US Open next summer, should be a good time.

I cant see the winner below 2 or 3 under par. Should be set up at about 6700 yards or so, but the greens are huge, undulating and pretty fast already this summer. I cant imagine what they have in store for next summer. I usually play the tips however, about 7150 yards, decently long I guess.
