Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Blueboard

I was wondering on how big of a difference the 83R and the 83S are in comparison to stiffness. I ordered the 909F2 and accidently ordered the 83R and I was wondering if it will be too weak for me. My ss is right around 100 and I didnt want to hit the 83R if it will be too weak, id send it back to titleist in exchange for the S. Thanks for any help anyone can give me

I just bought a Titleist 906F4 15.5 with a BB shaft in it off eBay. I have all sorts of problems with 3 wood off the deck.

The TaylorMade TP 14.5 3 wood with the re-ax shaft that has come out of the bag is longer off the tee, but the 906 is awesome off the fairway. Great ball flight - strong and penetrating. And off the tee it flies long and true. Now considering changing the shaft on the TP Burner Driver.....

i agree with the earlier comments, this shaft is rediculusly stable in the hitting area, it never feels like it gets stuck behing you but still packs a punch through the ball, definitely better in the heavier versions, still gives mid-high launch but with very low spin.
I just switched to the 83 gram and I went out today first time playing with it and It made a huge difference!!! My drives before were about 285 yards and I drove 2 par 4's !!!!!!! Un real the difference. Could it be it is just my perfect match for my swing? I am very good golfer and I have never drove the ball like this before. I thought last week was great but today WOW unreal I just had to tell someone. I never believed the shaft could be so much of it. I also had a drive that was over 330 but the 2 drives that I drove the greens were about 319 and 313 yard drives. But this is 45 yard difference just from a shaft. oh well I am sold for life.NIKE TOUR 460 with blueboard 83 stiff

i started with a G10 and white board 73X setup. without ever hitting it, i went out and played a short and narrow (6500 yd) quarry course...where if you miss the fairway, your dust...and shot 68 (par 71). this was the first time i broke 70. i never once hit it out of play; on a course that driver is not the smart play. i decided to play aggressive golf that day with my new driver and didn't care if i hit it out in the canyons or not. overall, it worked out pretty good. the problem was however, nothing felt that solid. the drives were long, they were definitely straight, but i was struggling to hit it flush all day. so i switched to the blueboard 63X. call me crazy...especially after carding my best round ever, but i couldn't stand the fact that everything was a mishit. the blueboard has been very solid, from the very first drive. it's nearly always a sweet spot feeling. but now, it seems like my accuracy has been compromized. i don't blow it all over the place, but i'm not hitting many fairways either. FYI, i hit it long 290-340, ss of 105-115, with a good tempo.

my question is, how does going from a 63 to a 73 or 83 blueboard effect it's performance? i thought it was the same shaft regardless. i know that the torque is lower on the 73/83. but mitsubishi told me that torque isn't going to be noticable w/ in 2 degrees. they also said it was over rated. i'm lookin for accuracy. i want to hit fairways. do you think a 73 or 83 BB would be an improvement over the 63? should i go back to the WB? i'm a bit perplexed at this point. i really don't have any complaints w/ the current setup (g10/63X BB). other than i'm not splitting fairways. any insight would be appreciated.

which would carry more of a higher ball flight in a 3 wood, a diamana blueboard x stiff or a whiteboard stiff?

Probably the blueboard. I recently bought a Titleist 910fd 13.5 with the MFT 82X Ahina and I was struggling to hit anything other than a stinger. I took out the Ahina and put in a Blueboard 83x and it was a big difference. Now I get a nice penetrating md ball flight.

Accidently ordered two 83 s-flex shafts and wanted x-flex. My now former club maker cut the entire tip off both to try and get them to work in my fairway woods. What a fool. Now trying to get 83 x-flexes. Can still hit them unbelievably well at times, but inconsistent because of what was done to them. I'd still have nothing else, and play a Whiteboard in the driver. These shafts are money.

Hello everyone... Great information that helped me decide on a shaft! I did just purchase a 83g x-stiff blue board for my Nike VR_S Covert and now I would like to change the shafts in my fairway woods (3 & 5). My question is will the 83g x-stiff most likely be the best choice for my woods? Or should I be looking into something heavier? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
