Apache Stronghold anyone? April 26 or 27

Would like to get out there before it gets too hot. Busy these next two weekends but open the weekend of April 26 and 27.

 

Anyone interested, please post your preferred day Saturday or Sunday and depending on interest, I will try to arrange a few tee times.

 

Will probably look for something early (8-8:30 ish) so if there are any hardcore stalwarts, there will be time to get in a 2nd round.

Thread title got me excited and then I remembered that I am moving that weekend.

I made two trips out there last year playing 36 holes both times and it was a blast. Over looking the condition of the course, it is by far my top 3 favorite layout of courses I've played thus far.

Kinda dropped the ball on this, wasn't much interest. Called this morning to see if I could get a tee time Saturday. They are having a small tournament that we could join with an 8:00 shotgun start. Nah. Maybe try again in the next few weeks.

I went up there in January after we played Aguila... VERY rugged condition BUT the greens were great and the track is FUN!! So fun, in fact, that I would consider going back even though the drive is kinda long..... The starter was a great old guy and made sure we had a fantastic day.....

I've been wanting to go for so long now, just have to find the time where I can plan on being gone all day for the trip. And if I make the drive, I'd kind of want to try and play 36 since it's a just a trek.

I've drove out there three times and all three times by the time we finished 18, the shop and outside guy were already gone so we just kept playing another 18.

.Again - Would like to get over there in April perhaps, when the Bermuda starts to turn green but before it gets real hot. I'll probably just book two tee times and put it out here to see who is interested.
