Wilson Staff Px3

Players get maximum distance and soft feel as well as greens-chewing holdability from the 3-layer construction of the Px3. In addition to its PhD advanced dimple design and Nano Tech core, the Px3 features a resilient Dupont HPF Mantle Layer which delivers increased velocity off the tee and higher spin rates on full iron shots.

* 3 Piece Construction

* 312 Flat-bottomed, shallow dimples

* Nano Tech Core

* HPF Mantle

Very impressed with these balls. Actually bought by mistake, was looking for the tx4's. Until I get a chance to try the tx4's, these get rotated with Srixon URS's. Actually probably prefer the Staffs esp. when considering the price. I've seen elsewhere where people consider this a hidden gem. They're correct.

-Great length

-Spin is right up there with the URS.

-Nice looks and durability

People are surprised when they see you playing them and start asking questions. I think Wilson is headed in the right direction with things as their as getting back to their premium days of the 80's. The old Wilson Staff balata's where my favorite (except for you could only play them for two holes max before shredding or cutting.)

Would definitely recommend!

Found these at Wal-Mart for $22. And could very well be one of the best balls I've ever played. As a golf professional they get my endorsment around the club and many memebers have switched after trying them. For me they seem to be longer than the proV and spin more than the X. It's a perfect fit and you can play an entire round or two before it needs to be reitred. All in all a great golf ball. Wilson is definitely on the right track.

I have to agree with both of you. I've played both the Tx4 and the Px3. Both are fantastic! They check up great, get good height on both iron and driver shots and have a sweet feel while putting. They are also very durable.

Because most people aren't willing to try anything different, I've been able to pick up boxes for around $16.00 on sale (no kidding) at some non-golf stores here in town. Wilson definitely needs to keep these on the market. Only upgrades would be to add back the balanced ball feature they had a couple of years ago and then get a seamless cover.

Try the Tx4 if you get a chance. They do feel/play just a little nicer. :good:

Great bang for the buck, especially when your willing to hunt for them. Went to farm and fleet, would be fleet farm for those of you and other areas. Found for $13! great deal picked some up and had to try. Spin was good, durability good, not sure on driver distance yet as i've only had the chance to beat em around the yard. I hit one ball around 30 times with my cg12 and cover appeared fine, great ball.

I found this at WalMart for $19/dozen and decided to give them a try. I had played this ball when it first came out a few years ago and thought it was ok but had not played them since. This is a solid ball that is well worth the price I paid for them. Good feel, distance and trajectory, spin on short irons is ok although no one will confuse this with a tour ball. This is real solid choice for mid/high handicappers and would be a nice winter ball for the better players. Similar to the Nike Ignite.
