I know I know! I'm so anti TM!!! But man they might be staying. I really think the Vapor PC is what I should be leaning towards. It may be just me but the PCs are very chunky in the hosels. Which is why I went Pro 6-Pw. If that wasn't the case I might have just went full PC. The TPs transition nice and blend together well. PC hosels... Too thick

Besides the irons I am currently testing

915hd 20.5 with Tour Ad Di 105x. I dropped the 5 wood out of the bag to add another wedge. I hit the Callaway x2 almost a little too long at times but it's a very solid club. Due to the penetrating flight I am testing it vs the 915hd to see which I can flight higher when needed. At the moment I still like the Callaway. It's a great fairway finder 230-235. Sometime though it can jump on me 240-245 which is not what I'm looking for coming into greens. Looking for more of a softer drop and stop. One thing I never liked about hybrids was they were easy to overcook right to left. The Callaway doesn't and with the adjustability of the 915hd it performs just as well. Leaning more towards the TPs in the irons and sticking with the X2 for my hybrid. I also ordered another 3 wood from Japan. Nike Limited Vapor Speed. I'm hoping it's similar to the tour issue version from Nike. Sounds like it is at 167cc but won't know until it gets here. Might be saying goodbye to my old Vr Pro LTD fairway wood.

Did you ever think about getting the 915h? I know the H might be a little big , but it doesn't have the offset like the hd does. Can't wait to see your vapor! Did it cost a lot with shipping? What is the stock shaft in Japan?

I also forgot to mention I have the 913h. Great club but I did like the Callaway more. It's more compact and more "iron" like vs big. The offset doesn't bother me much in the 915hd. I hardly notice it. It's more of a matter of misses and flight.

The Vapor Limited shaft is a carbon shaft. I just got the cheapest option because I am throwing my Ion Diamana BB 83x in it anyways. I ended up paying 237 shipped. They have upgraded shaft options though if wanted. Even if it is a smaller version of the Speed shape I'm okay with that as well. Really hoping it looks like the tour issue version though. Beautiful looking club. I didn't even know about the Japan version until my fitter at the Oven mentioned it. I've been wanting a newer 3 wood with recent technology. The VR Pro LTD is such a great 3 wood and I won't have any problems going back to it which I've done a few times already.

Waiting for the shipping to update. It's Japanese EMS service. Most likely 10 days I would think? Everything is in Japanese so I have to use google translate to understand what it's saying lol

sadly just the standard US version. My favorite Nike head cover for woods is the Vr Pro Pom ones. The red and white. I might just use that one still

Today I played 18. My son had a tournament this morning so I watched him all morning and got the bug to play. I am in the middle of a swing change and played decently. Shot 75 on a course that is 75/138 @ 7200 approx. Shot even par on the front. The RSi irons are pretty legit especially with the Modus 125x. I hit some shots that didn't feel too good swing wise but ended up pretty damn decent. I clanked a 189 yard 6 iron on the last hole that ended up 5 feet. 163 yard 7 iron floater into a gusty headwind that held its line beautifully to 5 feet. Shots that I know would have not turned out as good with the Vapor Pros. Also got to finally test my Engage 51, 55 square. I am in love with these wedges. I have to get the distance dialed in as I am not used to the extra spin. Seems like the added bounce hasn't effected play ability at all which was one of my concerns weakening the loft. Lastly the 915hd performed extremely well. Almost double eagled a par 5. Had 237 to the flag and hit the pin on a roll. I can't believe it didn't go in! Also had 227 uphill into a slight headwind didn't make great contact but the ball held its line well and I had 20 feet for birdie. When looking for the right clubs for me I always pay attention more to how good are my bad swings with the club. I think I like what I see with the 915hd and the RSi's at this point. Hit some great shots off the tee with the 915hd as well. Solid club. I could honestly go either way between this and the Cally right now. Going to keep it in the bag for now.

I know how you feel... it's only been once a week rounds for me lately.

RSI TP's are the other set that have my attention this year. Vapor Pros did not do it for me, but have the J15 CB's in the backup bag currently. They are easy, but the thicker soles have me concerned when the ground finally firms up here. I have been close (many times) to pulling the trigger on the RSI TP, but the "old" Nike tech in the VR PC's have been outstanding for me this year, and last year if I hadn't stupidly sold them on a whim.

But did you make the eagle? We all need to know. :) Nice round!
I missed the 4 footer lol. Didn't read the break correctly. Not going to lie :/

It's the putter....jk

The RSi TPs sound solid, I'm thinking those or 714 AP2s.

Cota what head cover comes with the Japan version?
sadly just the standard US version. My favorite Nike head cover for woods is the Vr Pro Pom ones. The red and white. I might just use that one still
No questions about it the Pom LE covers rocked! I wad hoping they'd have a different cover.

Off topic, what's your ball of choice?

haha. Right to left downhill... just me

The Ap2s are more point and shoot. One thing is when you miss with them they go exactly where you miss! lol Great club and I am looking forward to trying the 716 line!!!

going to order a set of Poms from JuJu. I hear great things about them.

Titleist Pro V1x. Until Nike comes out with something like the RZN black but with a different cover (black dot) I won't switch. Not a fan of the retail RZN black or the Platinum.

I put the RSi in play yesterday and besides the head flying off they performed incredible. Hit a couple more shots that after I was surprised were on point!

Waiting on them to hand polish it to turn it a little more gray. Thanks
