Nice, how did the tournament go?
It was a match play event. My partner and I were in the 1st flight, won all 3 9 hole matches Saturday 6-4, won first match Sunday 7-3 and halved the 2nd. Ended up 2nd place by one point and the Calcutta in our flight was large... unfortunately it only paid out 1st for the Calcutta, but we took 2nd and won some proshop money. It was very well organized and a ton of fun though!

Well done!
I have been losing sleep over that one point going back through holes where we could have won just one more hole... Had we tied the group that won, for 1st place we would have won the tie break because we won our match with them the day before. That was the part I am most upset about. Well that and the Calcutta was somewhere around 1600-2k for our flight. Makes me sick to my stomach... so much I bought another set of irons to make me feel better, ha!

This shaft is now in my R15 9.5 playing at 44.5. All I can say is holy s$%t this shaft is amazing! In two rounds in two days I've missed 3 fairways (barely) and netted a long drive of 330yrds on a 530 yard par 5 down wind, down hill. All others were 280-300 range and I don't normally hit it that far at all. This is the most stable, straight hitting shaft I've ever tried!

I didn't. They were just okay... I sold them and went back to 2013 x-forged. I cannot find anything I like better.

I need to see about grabbing a set of those. I was still working for TMAG when those were out, but the '13 X Forged was my favorite iron that year by a long way. Really wish Callaway would go back to the more tightly packed grooves.

That's not a legit photo of the Chrome unless it's out back of your trunk in your work parking lot though. Just kidding. Nice set up for now, lots of change here since I saw the X2 Hot Pros. What didn't you like about the RSi TP? I was really impressed with them when I demoed earlier this year.

It's not that I didn't like them, I just didn't love them. Maybe the S300 wasn't the right shaft but it was more to do with the subjective feel part. I just really really like/love how the 2013 X-forged set up to my eye and feel. To me the RSI TP's feel closer to AP2s and I do not like them. They are beautiful clubs, but I just like mushy soft Miura/Mizuno Endo feeling irons when struck well.

As far as the Chome Elements goes, I ran out to my truck and snapped a couple legit pics, that other one was the only one I had taken to send my buddy when it came last week. This shaft in this R15 head for me is almost like a miracle difference from the 757 and I thought it was good and better than the 661 option! My playing partner told me I'd better hang on to this one and quit while I'm ahead! It's a 6F5T playing 44.5 clocked at 10* with weights stacked in the middle on N

Atta boy, that's more like it with the pictures...LOL.

Had a 7F5T in my SLDR 460 last year. Could play that shaft based on looks alone as I'm a sucker for anything with an IP finish. Fortunately, Chrome performs every bit as good as it looks.

Putted lights out with the Odyssey Works 7 35 inch at Golfsmith and like a dummy bought a Tank Works 7 because it was a good deal. Sold it finally and the standard Works 7 with 3.0 Superstroke arrived today just in time for after work Thursday 9 hole scramble.
I didn't care for the Tank ones either; had a very numb feeling at impact.

My Works Versa V-Line has been very, very good though.
I struggled with the grip being so long and never being overly sure where to place my hands to be most effective. I made some good putts with the Works Tank, but never had a lot of confidence in the speed category. I like the 3.0 SS standard length on the non-Tank Works putters best. I always have my trusty Scotty Newport to fall back on as well.

I also forgot to mention that I recently added this guy to the bag last week. I have played with it once and the jury was still out until I spent some time practicing with it to find more confidence. I will say I have never had a wedge so easy to hit out of bunkers! It looks funny at first, but gets the job done, feels great and stops the ball fast!

My signature is current with all 13 clubs, may add an AB TP 5 wood fairly soon to have all 14 clubs :D

Agreed that feel of mizzys after a pure shot is walk away don't worry about where it landed. If it's the perfect club it will be where you hit it to. Nice bag .. How much did that elements shaft run about? Looking for a heavier more white board like shaft for my g30

You can find them from time to time in the BST on here for less than 130 used generally. I bought mine from a course pro who let it go at a super good price because it played shorter than 45 who said it was too stiff for him, but that was what I was looking for. I like it so well I bought the 85 gram same TX shaft for my 3 wood. I think they're around 275-300 retail brand new.

I've finally found a set of cast irons I like better than 2013 X-Forged. I had a set one other time but didn't really give them a proper chance because they had CFS shafts in them and I never took the time to reshaft them. I'm playing some decent golf with these Ping S55 4-pw that I've had in the bag for about 2 months now. They have factory zz65 shafts and Iomic sticky 2.3 grips. All else remains the same other than the new Auburn colored Stitch DuMon covers. They look really nice and very high quality! Looking forward to competing in the Heart of Dixie tournament this weekend!

All you need now is a Hoofer! Great looking bag.
I am not a huge fan of the Hoofer as I feel it is divided backwards and the top 2 divided slots should be the one open spot and the bottom should be the one divided. I had a Hoofer lite some years back and gave it to my dad later on and it was a great bag. Super light and loved how the top was divided out!

Looks like lot's o Ping in your bag as well! I hadn't really played any Ping clubs since my i3 Blades and Tisi Wrx driver back in the day. Ha. That driver used to make all the others look huge!

I have only used hoofer bags since high school golf. I did have a staff bag when I worked in the golf business, but didn't like toting that monster around. Right now I have the hoofer with the 14 way divider. I haven't played enough with it yet to determine how much I like it.

I am a PING man at heart. When I was in the golf business I tried some of everything including a staff deal with Callaway, but now that I have to buy my own sticks again I am back to PING. One day I am going to get custom fitted for a Ketsch and see if I can round out the bag with all 14 PINGs.

That Tisi was an awesome driver! I think I hit the ball farther with that driver than anything I have ever owned. It was a scarlet fox. :smilie_ping:

Dude, no offence, but quit trying to buy a game! You've owned some nice sets and you're changing all the time makes me wonder how you can stay consistent at best? I personally like the Ping setup as I have one similar, but your wasting a ton of money and time by trading/buying, or whatever it is you do? The only thing that has seemed consistent is your Anser 20 Hybrid, which is one awesome club, have one myself. Buy a Ping bag and see if you can be done Ho-ing for a while, or just buy a golf shop. lol

No offense taken. I don't try to buy a game, much like most everyone else on here I just like to tinker. I'm a 3-4 with whatever's in my bag. Who needs a golf shop when you have the BST?
