Most Secluded Golf Course?

The two golf courses on Lanai are pretty secluded. First you have to get to Maui, then take a ferry over to Lanai. And don't miss the ferry back or you are stuck there for the night....

Wouldn't rate as secluded when you take a four lane interstate almost all the way. However, likely on of the prettiest settings you will ever find for a course. The conditioning has improved dramatically under the new management.....!

Here's my contribution for 'most secluded'. The west and north coasts of Scotland are peppered with beautiful islands, many of which are home to a number or courses that would qualify for this discussion. Most of them are nine hole courses. This shouldn't eliminate them but if one is going to the trouble of getting to a remote course, I think you would prefer to play eighteen holes! The gem of these islands, indeed of all of Scotland, is Askernish ([url="http://www.askernishgolfclub.com"]www.askernishgolfclub.com[/url]) an Old Tom Morris course located on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. As a life member of this club from Canada, the siren call of these links beckons me twice a year, every year. Note: I leave on Wednesday for my spring visit..! How secluded is it? Well, not so much if you know the drill. Fly from North America to Glasgow, catch a 50 minute shuttle flight to Benbecula, have Rae from the only car rental on the island meet your flight with a car, drive south across the causeway to South Uist, down a precarious and mostly single lane road for about 10 miles, turn off at the Askernish sign and another mile on an even narrower single lane road and you're at the course and a delightful small but modern clubhouse with a fully stocked selection of whiskies and freshly made toasties and scones. I am the only life member from Canada. Most of the rest are your fellow Americans who are as passionate about Askernish as I am. Having said that, most days you would find yourselves as one of the few groups out on the course. How do you spell 'idyllic'....! If anyone is tempted to make the journey and requires assistance, let me know.....

By DoubleorQuits definition (which is correct) I would say that Paiute and Bandon are not secluded, just out of the way. The most secluded course I've been on is Morefar.
