I hope the sizing is consistent. I just bought a similar pair of running shoes (http://www.adidas.com/us/climachill-cosmic-boost-shoes/B44080.html) and they run smaller than all other Adidas I've ever owned.

Those look similar to the Puma FAAS Lite. Are they currently on sale?

I always try befor I buy although I have found Adidas pretty consistant over the years

As have I. As the shoes are so similar, I'll definitely be trying first.

Looks like limited sizes so far... http://adidasgolf.com/climacool/DW-V4230.html?dwvar_DW-V4230_color=Q44600#CID=us%3Aag%3Aemail%3Aclimacool-shoe-par&rrid=9776&start=1

They remind me of the Pure Boost, which are phenomenal. I wish they incorporated Boost tech.

Curious if the 'supernova running last' on these would be suitable for wide feet...Adidas shoes tend to be too narrow for my wide feet, in fact the ONLY adidas model that have worked for me are the Adicross Gripmore which I love.

I ordered a pair and got them today. They are built like a tight sock liner on the inside. If you have a wide ankle area, you will have problems getting your foot into them. I opened up the laces as wide as possible and got my left foot in, but couldn't get my right foot into the shoes. Length wise, they were the right size, but they make them fit almost like spandex around your foot. So if you have a fat club foot like mine, it doesn't work well. I usually have the laces spread out on normal shoes. It's impossible with these.

With that said, the shoe I got my chunky fat foot into felt good once I got it in there. I just don't know if going up in size will fix my problem. I got the white and they look nice. Although I'm guessing the webish material will be hard to keep clean.

Frustrating that I really like the Adidas shoes this year and my feet just don't fit them well. Might just have to chop a toe off or something. We don't need that pinky toe anyways.... :blush2:

Wore these Saturday. Walked 18 right out of the box.

Thoughts...

They're difficult to get on - need like four shoe horns working in unison to make the process smooth. Once they're on, they fit wonderfully. Good support at the heel - less support in the forefoot. The forefoot was a little narrow at first, but broke in/loosened up quickly (I noticed the same thing with the Boosts). The length is slightly shorter than the Boosts (and all prior Adi golf shoes) by about 1/4 size - I've worn a 13M in Adidas Golf for years and always buy without trying them on. These are just a little snug. Not bad though. Very lightweight, nice traction, and as I got the Solar Yellow version, I felt and looked fast - like a Kenyan marathoner. They're incredibly ventilated - you can feel wind moving though the shoe throughout the round. I may start going barefoot in these. Would I buy them again... possibly. I'm going to see how they last over time. FYI - the Solar Yellow is bright. Out of control bright. Highlighter colored. They emit a nuclear radiation type glow.

With these feeling like a sock liner, are they designed to/could they be worn comfortably w/o socks?
I think they could definitely be worn without socks. I wore socks since it was the first time out with them. But next round, I think I'm going to go sockless.

Got me some grippy Adidas 2015 Gripmores in the UK for less then 70 quid here : www.golfclothingdirect.co.uk/Item/Adidas-Golf-2015-Pure-360-Gripmore-Sport-Shoes-in-White-Silver-Bahia-Blue

They grip great and look cool too, not sure they are cool yet though as not getting too much sun in Britain yet!

Chuffed with them, I have big feet with dodgy arches to support.

Excellent, thanks. I've been looking for months for a cheap range shoe so I'm not constantly destroying the spikes on my TW14's (or the right toe on my running shoes) but haven't found anything that isn't primarily synthetic and therefore a sweatbox. These look like they could be the answer...and that gray should hide dirt reasonably well.

They are by no means a sweat box. Air flows freely though them - I was raving about that feature throughout the round.

Picked these up and they are exactly what I was looking for. Not only are they more comfortable than my spikes (and IMO more comfortable than the Boost line, though I haven't worn those other than in-store), but also show no loss of grip on mats. Not going to displace my TWs for on-course but I don't think I could have found anything better for a range shoe...especially at less than $100.

Since it has been so hot around here all summer I decided to try and order a larger size of these and see how it worked out. Fortunately, going from 11, to 11.5 did allow me to get into the shoe. I probably could have gone to 12 and it be a little bit better. I still have some issues getting them on, but once I'm in the shoe, they are incredibly comfortable.

I have found the best way to play with these is without socks. Since the fabric and mold is more sock-like, it helps to just go barefoot in them. It helps keep your feet cooler as well.

Good shoe for this nasty summertime heat...

Something to think about: chemical exposure

In my opinion, my country club is over zealous with their chemical applications. Fungicides, insecticides, growth retardants, grub control, fertilizers, defoliants, the list goes on and on. As a former board of governors member I am privy to much of the "stuff" that is applied and our greens and grounds budget is closing in on $900,000. For safety sake, be careful what you put on your feet when you walk on to a plush golf course. Exposure can be considerable through the soles of your feet or the palms of your hands. Just something to consider, guys.

I've worn these both with socks and barefoot. Never have my feet gotten significantly wet. Barefoot, I did get a blister on the side of my forefoot from where the toe cap meets the upper. But, I'd probably go barefoot again as they're incredibly comfortable without socks. They do loosen up a bit over time and become much easier to put on.
