Help me choose between two putter specs.

Heel-Toe weighted ,or Face Balanced- full offset or half offset

I have decided to buy a Odessey White Hot XG Blade type putter. The website has one with "Heel-Toe weighted" and another "Face Balanced". How does this affect my choice?
Also what is a "full offset shaft " versus a "half offset shaft"? again what is the criteria to make a choice?

Heel / toe weighted means the majority of the weight is in the heel and toe of the putter with a cavity in between. Face balanced means if you balance the putter shaft on your finger the face of the putter will face straight up. They are two different concepts. You can have a face balanced and heel/toe weighted putter.

 

A putter with toe hang will hang toe down if you balance the putter shaft on your finger--as opposed to face balanced.

 

Offset if the amount of space of the ball is set behind the shaft--which puts your hands in front. Full shaft offset means the ball is one shaft behind the shaft. 1/2 shaft offset means the ball is 1/2 shaft behind the shaft.

 

The only way to know what putter you like best is to try different putters and see how they feel to you. Try a putter with no offset, full offset, and 1/2 offset and see which feels best. Also, try a putter with toe hang v. face balanced and see how it feels. Putting is all about what is best for YOU.
