Adila Rogue Silver snapped at adaptor

Recently purchased a new Rogue Silver 100 70 x-stiff off the bay. Came with a ping adaptor for my i25. After only the third round of use it snapped at the adaptor as I put my head cover back on. Luckily it was the 18th hole and and didn't need it anymore that day. Got a message sent to the seller which is a shop based out of Chicago and I'm waiting to hear back. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue with these shafts? Thinking maybe going with something different if they won't replace it.

The Rogue has a thinner tip section than any other graphite shaft I've seen. Most graphite shafts have a small hole in the center but the Rogue hole is at least twice as large as customary. Hopefully the breakage isn't going to be common. It's a great shaft.

My aldila tour blue recently snapped at the same spot just inside the top end of the adapter. Maybe it's due to the thin construction, either way contact aldila directly they will replace it, their shafts have lifetime warranty.

Guess I'll give them a call in the morning. Hope this was just a fluke and it's not a normal occurrence. I absolutely love the feel of this shaft and have been killing the ball off the tee. Going to suck using the stock Ping shaft until the replacement gets here Haha!
