Tried it too. Launched it higher than PX7.0 and spun it a touch more. The softer tip section would probably be very good for wedges though.

First round with the wedges. Hit some good shots. Grooves are super sharp and pitch shots seem to come out lower than my old wedges.

Small update, black carbon 009 has been back in the bag for a couple of weeks. The feel of the stainless just wasn't as good as my black carbon one.

Hitting the ball very well right now. Iron shafts are great and up about a half a club in distance over the X100's. Have a new Kuro Kage XT shaft to install and test but I've been hitting my driver too good to tinker right now. Same with new D4 availability in Canada. Can't easily get my hands on one and hitting my D3 quite well so not sure I'll even try and get one.

Just need to play a bit more golf now.

I've always struggled with hybrids and really still searching, the weight of the PXi allows me to really play it like a long iron, I had the shaft in a 712U before which I never really got along with so I just decided to give it a shot. Finally feel like I can hit down on my hybrid. May give some heavy graphite shafts a shot in the off season or some slightly lower flight steel shafts. Interested in giving a few shafts a try in the new 816H2

I have the AMT X100's in my irons, and KBS Tour X in my 915 H.d. For me the flight is ideal throughout the set. I'm like you and want to attack my hybrid rather than pick it. That's why I went with the H.d head. That and because I wanted a penetrating flight through the set. I don't want any club that has any tendency to balloon. For me the KBS Tour shaft is the perfect weight, and flex to keep the apex down, while not being hard to get airborne. Would maybe give the KBS Tour a try in the hybrid. I am scared to try the AMT in my hybrid because I fear the launch will be too high and if I have 225 into the wind I have no chance then. Hope this helps!!

Right now I play a tour issue PXI 7.0 in my 17.5* HD at 40". Went short but went stronger loft to keep the flight down. Really tried the PXI because I was out of options and I had it. And it worked.
Looking to put a 816H2 19 turned down to 18 in the bag with some sort of heavy graphite or steel shaft. Thinking I may just match my iron shafts and go Project X 7.0. Or maybe a PX LZ Steel when they come out. But I am going to try a HZRDUS BLK 105 hybrid as a heavier graphite shaft shortly.

I'll let you know the results when I get a chance to test.

[/quote] I tried my buddies DI9x and BB9x for a couple swings , they were tipped a little too much for me but I did like the heavy weight, if I went to a 5 wood I think I would consider one.

rombax P95 is a great shaft. Really like the feel just seem to hit the VC 9.2TS better. Sticking with that for now.

915D3 7.5 is back in the bag and PXi in the hybrid.

Will update with new equipment once I get it in hand. signature will be what's going to be there soon.

Gave the HZRDUS 105 Black HY a shot although very good I just feel like I hit the PXi better. Easier to hit down on and play it like an iron. Doesn't feel a whole lot heavier either.

Will likely give a DG AMT a try as I can order it in the 816H2 and it comes with a Taper tip adaptor. But looks like I'm sticking with steel in there.

Fairway wood is still up in the air but HZRDUS won out in the driver testing by quite a bit.
