Milton Florida Golf Courses?

Hey! I'm traveling to Milton, Fl wit my wife to visit friends. Shes letting me play a round (Maybe two) (If I'm lucky) and I was hoping someone might be able to direct me to a decent course in the area. I'd even love to group up with a few locals to show me the ways. I look forward to any and all info. Thanks!!

Not much in Milton. The Moors closed several years ago during the down turn. Couple decent public courses over in Pensacola. Really depends on how far you want to drive. Brewton Country Club is about 45 minutes north. Biased because it is where I play. 7000 from the tips, Jerry Pate design , built in 1997. Fantastic condition. Greens are really nice. Bunkers are not so good. Very affordable and never crowded, except for a tournament this weekend.

Play Tanglewood. It's where Bubba, Boo, and Heath played in high school. Boo Weekley's parents still live on the course. Not the best course in the world, but it is fun.

I'm checking out Tanglewood now. Wouldn't mind running into Bubba either. My favorite player ever

I played Tanglewood Yesterday. Fun and cheap! Greens were alot slower then I expected, but I walked away with a 75, so I'm not complaining.
