They wouldn't look as pretty as they do without them.

I can't stand the clanking anymore when the cart hits bumps. Same with walking. That noise is not only annoying, it costs me money.

Amazing. I'd play those clubs all day everyday. Except maybe the driver because I've never gotten along with any of the newer Callaways. That putter is absolutely out of this world.

OP, I am a Callaway ho as well (see signature), I have the TA Protos (which I love), that is a lovely set of clubs you have and I too have covers on all of my clubs, I guess to each it's own, like you I spent good dollars getting my stuff, having covers help when (if ever) you would try to get rid of them (better shape), again love the set up...

Thanks! It's just about the best setup I could have right now....however, I have some TA Protos 3-PW that have the H Stamp and V stamp! So they are 5 grams heavier and have conforming grooves on the original Prototype design, (IMO, the best iteration of the club). I'm sending them out to Jim Kronus at the Iron Factory and he is going to buff and polish them up, restore the grooves (maintaining conformity), strip the chrome and leave raw. I will build the set identically to what I have now with the PXi's and the other specs. To have a set of these is awesome, especially with that raw patina finish. I will paintfill them myself.

I have another set as well, but they are 3-9 iron and they are in the process of being refinished and shafted up. One of many projects I have on the table right now.

I have never been a call away fan but holy moly this is a great setup, post some pics when you get your other irons back. Thinking about using iron factory for some projects myself.
