Best Ball for me

I'm trying to gauge the best ball for my game. I swing my driver around 100 and I look for my 8 iron to go about 150-155. I'm looking for a ball that gets the spin like a TP with distance like a ProV1x, preferably without breaking the bank. Any suggestions?

Just got a sleeve of these from my buddy, heard great things going to give them a try.

Identical to your stats, and I have searched for same results from a ball. The project a and super soft have come close but don't expect the distance. The pro v1x when I reintroduce it typically flys about half a club longer for me. At 150 I would pull the 8 and come right at the flag or just past it. With the pro v1x I'm definitely past it.

First time i tried it, i fell in love. They are a little hard off the club face, but i like feedback from a ball. Let me know how you like em!

Strange, I find the Project A has a nice soft feeling off of my clubs.

I have the same speed/distance as you, and I tested several mid price balls. I didn't try the project (a) though. I have been playing the Bridgestone e5, and I plan to stick with it unless I come into some long term money and can step up to a tour level ball without thinking about the price.

Try the Q-Star (the new one is impressive), I use the chrome soft (my 8 iron is about 160+), the project A felt very nice as well and it reacted just like the other ones did (a bit less spin), the regular Pro V1 (a little on the $$ side) is nice as well, but you may not gain any distance (spins more than the V1X)...but really, try the Q Star you might be pleseantly surprised...good luck
