Kevin Plank wont sell anything that isnt 100% ready to sell.....given that Speith complained of discomfort with the first set of UA golf shoes, Plank went back to the drawing board and came up with these.

They'll be released, but again Plank is a perfectionist so it'll take some time.[/quote]
The cleats also fell out of the prototypes.

There was that speed skating suit fiasco...perfectionist???

He sure seemed to wear the old pair for long enough. I know that there were different versions and subtle changes here and there but for the most part the design of the shoe seemed to stay the same, they can't have been that bad.

He might be a perfectionist but they have put out plenty of crap product just like any other large vendor. That said, version 2.0 of everything they make is significantly improved, I hope this is the case with golf shoes.

I just saw a commercial for the new UA shoes on NFL network actually.

UA is releasing a line of shoes like the drive ones, including these and the previous Spieth shoes, I think that Spieth just prefers this version as opposed to the other one.

Looks like Spieth was wearing some new color ways of his new shoes during yesterdays round. I think they just changed the logo and the sole. Anyone get any pics?

Not going to post it, so please don't ask, BUT I have the sell sheets of the new UA Footwear lineup. The shoe pictured here is going to be $250. They're out of the MIND if they think anyone is going to spend $250 shoe, especially with a players logo on it. Nike and adidas offerings at $250 are super premium (adipure, etc). These aren't in the same class in my opinion...

No way it will sell at $250. It's still a maybe for me at half that price, for $250 they can go fly a kite.

April 4th, but the sell sheet is for Europe, so could be different for US.

There's another shoe coming that same day, which is a very Ecco-like spikeless model for $180...

Ideally. I would like to see that too but the AdiPower Boost were $189 and the LC3 was $169, FJ Hyperflex $159 so realistically it's going to fall into that range. Or it should if they want to sell any.

The Boost are drastically over priced, especially for a shoe that doesn't have replaceable spikes.

This may be way to technical but I would take a guess that these might be some of the first shoes out of the new Portland office. There seems to be a lot of LC3 and Adi-boost in these. Maybe the first offerings from the guys UA cherry picked from Nike and Adi?

Unfortunately those are street prices. Nike is the only manufacturer to still use MAP, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense... but yes, $250 and $180 (spike-less).

Good luck to them!

UA athletic shoes are priced below Nike and Adidas premium offerings, why would they launch these at a price above the offerings that Tiger, Rory and Day wear?
