I actually have the 330g pretty heavily lead taped.

I can't tell a difference in weight between the 330g and the 350g now. The 330g definitely has a clickier feel to it but I actually much prefer the 330g just because the head is a little more compact and the lines look sharper.

Truthfully, the 710 AP2's have treated me so well that I don't want to switch. It's only a matter of time before I get new ones because Im starting to wear out my irons and wedges pretty badly.

May say F it and go to the 714 MB's, I like the looks of those a lot more than the 716's.

The Gallery just got it back from one of the tour reps this morning. Pretty neat with the COA saying "Used on the PGA Tour". Also the 3 dots on the top are a tour only feature. Absolutely love the smoked shaft.

Quick little update. The honeymoon period is over for me with the X5 but it still killed in the little competition between it and the 2 009's. The mallet is just THAT good it's crazy. Contemplating putting the 350 gram 009 on the market but I probably won't, it would break my heart having to let it go because I love these sticks so much.

 

This Callaway 3 wood is just ridiculous, best 3 wood I have ever hit. So incredibly easy to elevate really high. I have probably gone through 15 three woods in the past 2 years and I finally found one I absolutely love.

Is it completely face balanced? Or is there a tiny bit of toe hang, kinda like the golo 5? Not that it would make that much of a difference in the end.

 

You're back to using the 009s.. didnt get used to the mallet/high moi?

It is completely face balanced and it is in the corner for timeout. I putted so friggin bad with it yesterday I was ready to give up golf. I'm just not used to it and need to practice with it more. Put the 350g 009 back in the bag today (putted lights out -4 thru 16 but $hit the bed on 17/18 lol). Golf is a funny game.

 

It literally felt like the ball was coming off the face differently on every putt with the X5.

 

I think it's a good experiment if you're looking for a solid mallet, just takes time to get used to IMO.

Chosen to participate in the shaft testing and reviewing for WRX, super excited! Don't know what shaft I'm getting yet. I was never really convinced that shafts could actually help my stats until I finally switched from stiff to X flex. Gained 15+ yards and my cut totally disintegrated.

 

Right now I just have the stock 60X Aldila Rogue in my 915. It will give me an excuse to play more golf. Gonna see if I can't get up to Torrey South so I can get more of a feel with it in different conditions just because the ball goes forever in Arizona.

Got some new pictures up of my sticks and Cameron collection. Right now I am putting lights out with the 350 gram 009 so that will remain in the bag until she cools off.

 

Also, I was chosen to review the Graphite Design GP-6X. I wasn't impressed for the first couple of holes I used it, but after that I sort of fell in love. Such a solid shaft. I didn't really gain much distance with it, but my dispersion has definitely been reduced.

 

I plan on getting new irons and wedges by the end of the year.

A little update on the putter situation. The X5 is solidified as my gamer now, played two days ago and it was absolutely on fire. Haven't putted as good as I did two days ago, in a very very long time.
