The one like I got with the insert will not be available to the public but there will be a mFGP2 available with a spin milled face in late fall early winter.

I got my SilverBack 1 today. The 'holes' are indeed threaded. No weights were included but I assume they'll be available from the custom shop or some other source in the near future.

 

It's a great looking/feeling putter.

have you rolled it yet! they look sweet! Also have you heard anything else about their custom shop. I hear it is supposed to be something unique and different.

Haven't had it on course yet. Just on the carpet and a bit on a practice green. I'm still getting used to the 'belly' putter so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Very nice feel, soft but not 'insert soft'. Good weight and balance. Wonderful alignment both due to the Rifle Scope system and the VERY long sight line that really stands out against the black putter. I'd like to know what the metal insert is as I believe the putter is generally milled aluminum. (I think only the belly/long versions have an insert)

 

I would like to see a magnetic headcover instead of velcro but other than that, I'm very impressed with this putter.

The silverback belly heads have a stainless steel insert in them and the mFGP2 has a aluminum insert.I have both versions of the silverback the standard head at 33 1/2 inchs and 68 lie and the belly head 385 gram with sames shaft specs and in my opinion think the none insert version is softer since the the sweet spot is aluminum where the belly head has the steel insert at the sweet spot.The belly version is very balanced and for the person that likes a firmer feel it is the head to get.As far as the custom shop I was talking with Ted from Seemore lastmight about the custom shop and was giving him some ideas for its arrival in the first of the year.I told him doing custom face millings as well as custom paint fill would be great sorta like scotty's custom shop and Ted thought it was a great idea and will talk with the owner jim about it.So if you guys would like to see that happen drop them an e-mail or call Ted to let him know that there is interest in that stuff.They already do custom stampings and they alreadt comitted to doing different head weights and making most of the Seemore line in either a platinum finish or black with platinum face.Seemore has alot of stuff in the works and will be hitting the PGA hard next year to get more tour players and hopfully they can take some of Scottys business as thet shouls since the putters are better quality.
