Cant wait to get a Left handed Squareback!! Any ideas when they will actually be available?

squareback, fastback, 2.6 and 2.7 will retail at $299

Limited release button back (4000 made of each of the two models) with suggested retail of $599

 

button backs will be hard to get for most, and will likely sell at ebay and such for around $999 IMO.

 

With that many produced I really think they will not be hard to come by after the initial stages and the prices will be less than 999 on ebay. They will likely get a lot closer to the retail price. Right now you can get them buy-it-now on ebay for 750 with no takers yet.

 

I thought maybe at first, they go for 900+, but yeah, eventually they'll be down around retail, like the terilium 10 limited is now.

4000 is a lot for one model.

 

Only around 3000 La Costas came out and their value is much less nowadays.

 

Higher than SRP would be the wrong time to get the button backs since their resale value will surely dive after the initial buzz.

noway this happens, there is 4000 of each model made, plenty to go around for sure, anyone who pays over 600 is a moron

the buttonbacks are gorgeous but there really is no way that i'll pay over 600 for one. i'd much rather spend 400 or so on a byron morgan "captain morgan" putter. the squareback and fastback are REALLY good looking, though. i might actually buy one.

 

i'm dying to see if the sweet spot and the sight line are aligned in the new studio putters. :P kidding, of course.

I just can't be;eive we have not seen a fastback or squareback leak out on ebay yet. I know all the tour models have been for sale but no OTR has been seen to my knowledge on the bay yet.

I was about to ask who had seen any out there anywhere, I figured with Monday being the official "ship and release" date that some shops and stores would have them by now and there would def be a few on Ebay.......

The button back will feature a softer insert - how will this feel compared to the non insert Scotty's ?

 

 

Maybe it will feel as soft and mushy as the Studio Style putter, which many of the more traditional Scotty fans hated because of its mushy feel........

 

I had the Studio Style and actually liked it - will the Buttonback be available in 35" shaft length ?

nope 34 inch with 15 gram weights, which is a 34/350 putter length and weight wise........Im sure you could spend you life savings at the Custom shop though......

I would be shocked if they did not, since Scotty seems to think that 35" is one-size-fits-all and 90% of SC putters are 35"...
