Scotty Cameron Futura X7 and X7M putters

Also checked these out yesterday. Feel is great - I mentioned it above but the 2015 Cameron insert design is the best I've seen in years.

X7M is probably as good as it gets if you're into large mallets.

A bigger version of the X5 head cover. Probably the same as the Kombi. It's not the pizza box looking one from the Futura X (although it fits it).

What's the easiest way to do this? I don't necessarily have a pro-shop I could go to. Could I do this through a big box store or would you recommend an online retailer?

You should be to order it from any Titleist account. You could also buy a stock 33" and extended it an inch.

Per Titleist customer service there is a difference between the 2 headcovers. The shaft of the putter should fit inside the cut out of the cover....guess I'm heading back to get the right one.

Rolled some putts with these today. Feel is very similar to the white hot insert from Odyssey. I must say these are probably the best feeling Scotty's that are retail that I have ever hit. If they redo the Golo 5 2015 with the new insert, I am in....

My gosh the x7m is a winner for me. So much easier to line up and the high moi makes it so easy to keep straight. I came from the x5 and this is by far better.

Could someone post a picture of their X7m and the headcover? I don't think I received the correct one... even though they insist it is. Seems to be a really tight fit. Thanks!

It should not be tight. I ran into that situation and they gave me the wrong cover. The shaft should fit in the indention of the cover.

I have both putters and I am fairly certain the "inserts" are exactly the same, just different color anodizing of the aluminum.

I rolled them both side by side yesterday and the aluminum is actually softer than the new insert.

I have an X7M that came direct from Titleist and the headcover is pretty snug. The shaft lines up with the slit for it but it definitely hugs the putterhead pretty tight. I assume after a few rounds of on-off it will break in so to say.
