Face milling.
Does anyone know where I can get a putter face re-milled to take some of the dings out?

Made my gamer and refurbished four putters. Great guy, top notch work.

LaMont Mann (Golfluvzme on this site) also does fanastic stuff. Not sure if he does milling but definitely worth contacting. There are plenty of posts showing his extraordinary work.

You may have luck contacting George Palombi as geogolf here on golfwrx or Kevin Colpert at putterplating.com.

All men mentioned so far are more than capable.

I'm hoping to have the face of my Ram Z4 refinished as there are some minor dings and scartches on it.

Ya, if you just want a basic milling job a local machine shop would be a great idea.

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

I'm actually from the industrial West Midlands of England, namely Birmingham and there are very few if any engineering shops left due to the demise of manufacturing in this country.

And as for London (where I live now?) I believe there'd be even less chance.

Go to www.yell.com (for yellowpages) and type in the location then machinist or engineers, or mechanical engineers. Loads will come up that you never thought were there. Then just give them a call. image/good.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Seriously, Slighter is expensive and your wait will be long...If you want a quality job at an an extremely affordable price and you don't want it to take forever, then get a hold of Kevin at Colbert putter plating....
